Hey there fellow BBers! ;)
I want to ask y’all something about diet!
I always stayed natural(once tried steroids for the experiment, but thats it!),
And when it comes to get ripped, a ketoish approach well worked for me!
But it takes some time..
Now i’m looking for a more strict, faster option for an upcoming event!
And i wonder if the good old get-ripped approach from the 60s and 70s:
eat only white fish and broccoli, salad, celery and cucumbers 4-5 times a day
Is a decent diet that a natural guy can pull off, or is it just for the enhanced?

I was there in the 70s and you ate meat, egg whites, tuna, very small amounts of complex carbs, and drank water.
That put you into ketosis and you felt like shit but you got ripped.
You can't stay on a diet like that forever of course.
If you're natty you'll lose a lot of size if you try to attain very low bodyfat levels. No way around it.
Which is why truly natty bodybuilders who do so look like Auschwitz inmates.
It's unfortunate the judges encourage extremely low bodyfat % in natty contests. It just promotes cheating.

Thank you, i read it as the “water and meat” diet in the old school magz back then, so this is where the idea from!

Egg whites? I thought the old timers swore by WHOLE eggs. Even when I drop my calories to get more definition, I NEVER cut out the yolks. If anything, I'll subtract fat from other sources.

Nope. I'm just telling what they did in the 70s and early 80s .
The egg yolks were cut out.
Oldtimers to me are the 40s and 50s.
I'm not telling anyone to do this.
