For such a murdering, cut throat SOB, he seems a cool guy and is dropping some amazing stories.

I read his book as I read it was like I could hear joe pesci voice in my head as if he was narrating it to me. ;D ;D ;D ;D

It seems the Mafia is softer than I thought. How much is real and how much is media-driven bullshit?
This guy was the right hand man to the Teflon Don.
Now he has tell all books, shows and a Youtube channel?
I have more respect for Ray Liotta as a gangster at this point.

He has a podcast to prob same as YouTube stories. What’s ironic is they all talked about despising rats and they all were rats lol

Even your best friends will betray you when looking at 5 -10 years

In a very real way, most criminals are extremely weak people.
It’s their lack of backbone, honour, integrity, work ethic, etc. that sees them into a life of crime and poor behaviour.

Everyone that would want vengeance for John Gotti is dead, really old, or too young to care. That's how it is in all crime organizations, you simply hang back till no one cares anymore. They sent some really high level guys to kill him once in the very late 90's, but they were caught before anything could happen.
No one is getting murdered now unless they are actively ratting or stopping the flow of money. It's just not worth the hassle of almost always getting caught down the line.

Listened to the first episode of his podcast (Our thing) and found it to be pretty good.
Curious as to when the second one will be released. Anyone know?

All mobsters are fun people- until they want something from you and you don't give it to them. An uncle of mine, nicknamed 'Doc', was a low level member of the mob- running the numbers game in a small upstate town. He was implicated in a hit though and narrowly escaped prosecution because the feds were after the capo - or chief of the crime family.
Doc was a very likeable guy and you'd never suspect he was capable of the crime- until my younger brother - who was in law enforcement later on- told me what he heard on the wiretaps. Ol doc was funny alright - threatening to murder a guy's entire family if he didn't pay a debt to the family. Fortunately for him someone else in the family got the honors.
Glorifying the Mafia is a Hollywood invention- these guys are/were disgusting humans.
