WTF! I honestly thought he was around 50 until he said his age at the beginning!

Looked like shit there too.

Gayer than having a doctor explain side effects of steroids to you post-use on a National Geographic show.

Yes, he looks early 50s. Never seen a 37 year old who looks like that! Wow. :'(

The guy is 37! Looks bad for his age. I'm 15 years older than him and look healthier than him. Bless it on my genetics and I'm still a bodybuilder.
-
I think it was Steve Michalik who said, that you will never know all the bodybuilders suffering with health issues because of steroids because they don't tell the public.

That guy from the documentary “doctor huge” was a tool but by the end he had me chuckling

Like the cardiologist in that clip said. We rely on case studies of deceased steroid users. Most of the "better" studies are short in nature like 6-12 weeks double blinded with 200-600 mg of test/placebo. Bulk of those studys were done in 90s. BTW the most prolific researcher of the AAS field is the guy who played with dolls on bigger stronger document ;D His name is everywhere on the literature. There has been many cases of cardiomyopathy in deceased bodybuilders. Rich being the famous one but the strong correlation has not been proven yet. Steroids will enlarge left ventricle and thus effect on systolic function. It can be reversible. Cardiomyopathy you can't correct.

roids makes you bigger therefore heart needs to work harder therefore grows bigger to respond to the extra demand.. nothing very dangerous here, just normal physiologyu..
Whats bad is the effect on lipid levels which increase chances of cardiac event if unchecked.. but this is an issue mostly with only some bbers using massive doses of oral aas, rec stuff, etc. Otherwise there would be much more bbers (cutler, coleman, levrone, ray, etc etc) who would have dropped dead long ago. Sure they may live to 75 instead of 80 but who cares.
