They wonder why nobody cares about the NBA and NFL.
Does everything have to be about race?

Larry and Magic built the modern league.
-
Kyrie, you have to own a couple of teams first. Let's put this in perspective. Harden has done nothing to build his community other than spend 1 million in a strip club to get his name on the wall.
NBA contracts are guaranteed. You fools should own half of the league by now. Essentially, white men still own your talent.
Does it have to be about race? It's not like the USA wasn't built on race, so keep the ball rolling.

Michael Jordan was the last thing worth watching in the NBA.
-
Non-athletic, working class white men with a strong interest in sports which they themselves have never played and which are populated by multi-millionaire black men.
The miracle of marketing.

All those people that watch horse racing don't own race horses?

I'd be pleased if the NBA went bankrupt and all these black kings had to get real jobs.
-
It’s Kyrie saying this. Take it with a grain of salt. He is the Tbombz of the NBA

Hmm. How come there aren't more midget jockeys ya think?

The who?

You'd think they'd all be midgets by now.

Modern day slavery if you ask me. White men paying negros to do something they're not willing or able to do...
Let's not forget, calling the owners of teams "owners" was banned a while back. Odd that we're still allowed to call owners of businesses "owners".

Two hours googling and I can't find a single example.
Something is going on.

Example of what?

Jockeys. All very small men. But no midgets.
Don't you find that a little odd?

Yes, indeed. Maybe their feet/legs can't reach the stirrups?

They wouldn't. They would just end up in prison. It is better for them to pay big taxes and support businesses everywhere pissing away their cash. They save and invest almost nothing.

The Kangs of NBA

It should be Jordan/Jumpman if anyone.

Irving sill whining about race, when this had nothing to do with it. He was a dumb-ass, a dumber-ass fan chucked a water at him.
Raciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiistttt. ::)
LOL what a kvnt.
“Fans gotta grow up at some point,” said Kevin Durant, one of the stars of the Nets, said. “I know that being in the house for a year-and-a-half with the pandemic got a lot of people on edge, got a lot of people stressed out. But when you come into these games, you gotta realize these men are human.”
Irving also responded to the incident after the game.
“”It’s unfortunate that sports have come to this crossroads,” Irving said. “You’re seeing a lot of old ways come up. It’s been that way in history in terms of entertainment, performers and sports for a long time. Just underlying racism ::) and treating people like they’re in a human zoo, throwing stuff at people, saying things.”
The Nets will try to close out the series Tuesday night at the Barclays Center.

They need more diversity in the NBA, it’s racist not to have more whites, Latinos, and Asians. Too many hebrews and lack of diversity….
-
I’d rather read a Matt C attention-whore post in its entirety than watch one minute of a NBA game.

It's the legs and arms. They'd probably be in a split by the time they sat on a horse, plus those little tiny hands and arms can't be good for steering, etc..... Dwarfs have it worse, a midget is built kinda in proportion, a dwarf has the full sized head and torso, that's got to fuck up aerodynamics.
Also, you don't notice it till you get a good look, but dwarf and midgets are pretty thick to downright tubby usually -

Underlying racism, huh? Are you referring to the same racist fans that pay hundreds and sometimes thousands to see you play?
I'm not condoning the behavior, but racism is a stretch here.

No need to bring Fat Shizzo into this.

Kevin Durant telling people to grow up is quite amusing. He brings his mommy on the court and kisses her on the mouth. He's a total son husband.

Why is Vince Goodrum kissing that skinny ugly basketball player?

Well when you put yourself on a pedestal to get attention from the masses you deserve the bad attention too, you dim-witted spook.

Owners are in a different league financially compared to players. Salaries of even the top players are chump change to even the poorest owner. The money involved in running the team is a hobby/play-thing to these guys.

Nothing is preventing the players from becoming owner's. Many players have gone on become owners
If any of these 'Kings" don't like how the NBA is run, they're free to work elsewhere.

No, "many" players have not "gone on become owners" in the NBA. Owning and running a pro team is in another league of wealth compared to the wealth of even most star players. There are currently zero former players who are sole owners of an NBA team:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NBA_team_owners
These people are mostly multi-billionaires, people with generational wealth, real-estate moguls, dotcom-boom Mark Cuban types, etc. Jordan comes closest to supporting your outlandish claim (I don't know who "Fred Whitfield" is) but as in most cases with Jordan, he's the exception, he's much richer than your average NBA star. There are certainly not "many" like him.

Correct, many are not NBA owners, but they many do own other sports franchises.
I don't get how this is a race issue. MOST PEOPLE don't get the opportunity to buy sports franchises.

I saw on the news yesterday that LeBron James is out of the playoffs.
Now he has all summer to get his GED.

Pistol Pete eyes....looks like the kind of guy who would travel the country killing at random, luckily basketball worked out.
-
You think Michael Jordan could still dunk a basketball today at 58? Obviously he’s not taking off from the foul line, but could he still do a one handed dunk where he barely throws it down?

Yes. He can still dunk.

Snyder's networth is about the same as Oprah. That being said...
Magic + Group = Small Market Team
Lebrick + Robert Johnson + Small Market Team
There are several other combinations that could own another 2 Small Market Teams.
There should be 4 other owners along with Jordan.
No excuses!
NFL is a lost cause. Just give them their cars, tattoos, instragrams h@es and call it a day.

Jordan is a legend, gotta love this quote ;D:
A sports reporter asked Michael Jordan if he thought the ’90s Bulls could beat LeBron’s Lakers.
MJ: "Yes."
Reporter: "By how much?"
MJ: "Two or three points."
Reporter: "Why so close?"
MJ: "Most of us are almost 60 now."

Most of today's Lakers would be hurt and wouldn't even show up.

Shocker: US basketball team filled with NBA stars falls to Nigeria 90-87 in pre-Olympic opener

LAS VEGAS (AP) — This is not how USA Basketball expected to open its Olympic summer.
Nigeria probably didn’t expect it, either.
If there was any expectation of invincibility for the Americans heading into the Tokyo Olympics, it’s already gone — after Nigeria beat the U.S. 90-87 on Saturday night, an international shocker pulled off by a roster primarily filled by little-known NBA players that found a way to beat a group of All-NBA, All-Star and max-contract performers.
“We just wanted to compete,” said Nigeria’s Gabe Nnamdi, who goes by Gabe Vincent when playing for the Miami Heat. “We know what USA Basketball means around the world and what they’ve stood for for so long.”
The U.S. had lost 11 games before Saturday in major international play — Olympics and World Cups, mostly — since NBA players began filling the American rosters with the first Dream Team in 1992. None of those losses came against a team from Africa.
"I thought that the Nigerian team played very physically, did a great job in that regard and knocked down a lot of 3s,” U.S. coach Gregg Popovich said. “Give them credit.”
Nnamdi led Nigeria with 21 points. Caleb Agada scored 17 points, Ike Nwamu added 13 and Nigeria outscored the U.S. 60-30 from 3-point range.
