According to this chief ibuprofen can increase muscle mass??

Others say it hinders gains. Do any of you great warriors use ibuprofen?

I prefer Arcoxia (Etoricoxib), it is a selective COX-2 inhibitor and therefore has far less chance to cause any stomach issues, if at all.
I have also found it be far more effective than Ibuprofen as an anti-inflammatory and pain killer and is very light on the stomach and only needs to be taken once a day, instead of 3 times a day.
It also does not cause dry eyes, which Ibuprofen and other NSAID's may do (except Aspirin).
Another excellent NSAID is Xefo (Lornoxicam), another COX-2 inhibitor and is very similar to Arcoxia. Celebrex is also good.
Personally, I have found Arcoxia (Etoricoxib) to overall be the most effective.
Also, Aspirin is underrated in my opinion and possibly one of the more useful NSAID's for tendon injuries.
In terms of muscle gains, I don't think they make a difference and I have not noticed any differences when using them.

Stopped reading at 40-60% gains in muscle and strength, so bloke benching 200kg can bench 280 to 320kg by taking ibuprofen? Bastard faggot men’s health bullshit

That is why a selective COX-2 inhibitor is a better choice for long-term use.

My ex would take a ton of these to deal with her menstrual cramps, and she also always had daily stomach problems. I think it’ll worsen for her over time if that’s true
-
I only use it occasionally for aches & pains or muscle spasms to reduce inflammation or relax a spasm.
Not very often.
I've heard it actually is supposed to inhibit recovery to some extent.
It's puts stress on your kidneys (among other side effects) so you should not use it for long periods.

Looks like
WoMen's Health is running out of articles to recycle.
I remember people talking about it preventing muscle growth a long time ago.
It's not good for you long term, but very few medications really are.
A guy i worked with used to take it all the time due to back pain, ended up eating his stomach up and put him in the hospital.
