There are only eight real weight classes in boxing the rest are a load of bullshit

It's "super cruiser" weight. The WBC has wanted a super cruiser weight for a while, but for some reason didn't want to call it "super cruiser", so they slapped this gimmick on it. Boxing fans hate it.

Cruiserweight was originally created to be between light heavy and heavy.  What next light super middle?

I've got no issue with it.  No one forces anyone to watch it nor does it force anyone to compete in it.  If a 205lb fighter wants to fight Tyson Fury rather than the Bridgerweight champ, all they have to do is compete as a heavyweight and earn the right.
