I firmly believe there will be more people tactically trained in legal firearms within 10 years or less than in any martial art...
-
You’re right. I spoke to a martial arts instructor on Friday. He told me that there is a surge in the number of clients that want to be trained to disarm an opponent.

Dems will have the country looking like Brazil. Normal people will be armed or else....robbery will be common and the rich will have gates and security.
-
Thanks democrats.

I don't think I could disarm someone that's holding their gun sideways against the side of their HUUUGE HEEED. Besides, I cannot shoot a gun. But many in my family own and carry both open and concealed.

Agree 100%.
I live in a very low crime , nice area, but a few years ago I purchased an AR-15 .
It's legal, and bought from a licensed dealer at a sporting goods store . I keep it under my dresser with a loaded clip beside it.
Never had any reason to use it, yet, except for some fun target practice every now and then.
My wife has a concealed carry license and went thru the course years ago with the local sheriff's dept.
Her .38 pistol is with her /us if we travel to downtown ATL.
Like me , she's never had to use it.
Every cop I've worked out with or known , tells us the same thing.
Even 911 has a response time before the cops arrive.
They advise everyone ( especially females) should be armed and go thru a law enforcement taught course on using your gun.
-
Sure. Shooting a gun is fun, isn't physically taxing, and doesn't present much risk of injury. A sweaty 240lb dude sitting on your head and calling it Shi Ho Gatame isn't quite as inviting a way to spend an evening, unless that's your thing.

Tell us more about your loaded clip.

Would love you sitting on my head calling it Shit Hoe Partay

Ok, but ya gotta tell us the story of when you came out the closet ;)
LOL, I'm no different then millions of other safe and sensible gun owners in the USA.
FYI, that "loaded clip" zinger was pretty funny. I figured I'd get some funny ribbing after my post.
Thanks for the laugh ;D

I'm a biscuit over 240 now, but I can satisfy you on either scenario , provided you're willing to toss my large salad :o

Smart move as my chunky, hairy ass , won't be confused for the Playmate of the month.
-
I’m not talking about disarming. I’m talking about people learning to shoot tactical. Anyone can shoot a gun but not everyone can actually “shoot” a gun....

Could you take a pic and post?
I want to make a A2 poster out of it and put it up in my ceiling above my bed.

AR's don't have clips. I thought you in the Marines?

The US military didn't use AR's when Howard was in the Marines, they used M16's.

Should still know the difference between a clip and a magazine. Not just Howard but a lot of people either don’t know the difference or use the word interchangeably. But you do bring up a good point
