So it's safe to say that bodybuilding maxed out in what I call "The Chemical Era" of Bodybuilding [late Ironage - which started when Dorian started winning his Sandows].
I think Ronnie Coleman at the 2003 Mr. Olympia contest was, IMO, the most dominant bodybuilder ever. That version of Ronnie beats any bodybuilder in any bodybuilding contest ever, in all of bodybuilding history, ranging from the early Ironage [Eugene Sandow era] all the year through to "Early Ironage" [when Arnold won his Sandows], through to the "Middle Ironage" [when Lee Haney won his Sandows], all the way through to the very late Ironage era - the current era [when Brandon Curry when his Mr. Olympia title].
The human body can only grow so much. If bodies get pushed any further, there will simply be more steroid-related deaths - essentially "steroid overdose deaths", as we saw with Dallas McCarver.

I remember posting a couple of months ago a thread about Nick Walker, telling everyone that he's gonna be the next big thing in Pro BB, and everyone was laughing. Now eat this b*tches ;D
Dude is def reminiscent of a young Phil Heath structurally (just better conditioned), sky is the limit for this kid if he stays consistent :o

if his organs hold out, his BP must be through the roof, I see a Flex Wheeler prosthetic for him on the horizon.

Walker is the poor man’s Art Atwood

How many NY Pro championship titles does "Art Atwood" have? ::)

Atwood beat a prime Markus Ruhl at the 2002 Toronto Pro Invitational. Walker beat a list of garbage names yesterday. And Walker’s right leg is already garbage.
-
Compare Walker’s right quad to the other bodybuilders.
-
So that result is totally fukt
Please can someone post a picture where the spaghetti leg kid looks better then Mostafa..?

Damn that is the definition of ripped. I have yet to see a modern pro in that condition.

Wtf is a “wellness” division? ::)
Person number 1 - “do you compete or something?”
Competitor - “yes, I am getting ready for the wellness division”
Person number 1 - “wtf is that?”

Full figure girls (Kwon would come out of the lobby up to front row for that division). The big girls complained to the powers to be that they had no outlet. Actually, some of them are very hot.
-
What happened to the figure division? They are hard and ripped with sunken faces. Girls like Cheryl Brown used to be the standard.

Just plain stupid
Might as well make more divisions like the “8 wks out division” “off season division”

I'm hoping to watch this amazing battle online tonight

lol this year's 8th place (Morgan Aste) is twice as shredded as Yates has ever been... ::)

You are exactly right. The whole attempt to 'de-monster' things cannot work - human nature means that people push the limits each year
Already, the female fitness women are reaching the same levels of Lenda et al
And Bumstead and friends are (IMHO) approaching '90s levels of muscularity

Wider than Heath! More freak factor!

"Thank you all for participating!
Don't forget to collect your $10 plastic trophy on your way out and we look forward to suckering...er...seeing you at next year's show."

They could have a physically well division and a mentally well division.

From the Branch Warren School of Ugly Physiques.

Nobody would enter either one. None qualified.
