Won't make it to 30.
-
Magnificent fighter.
-
No need for all those spotters touching the plates.
There are safety straps in case of a fail.
Kid looks over 10 days out.
-
The rampant drug use/abuse has completely distorted reality for the younger generations.
These superheroes will be total wrecks come mid-life. If they make it that long.
-
Dude's so fat he looks like his aspect ratio has been distorted
Plus graceful exit from the cage ;D

It's raw footage(see background green screen for compositing emu battle scene in post)that Zone Smelling Productions shot in Ultra Panavision 70 and had to squeeze into 1:1 to accommodate Instagram's shameful square aspect ratio policy.

Needs to slow down on the Drol.
That's an insane weight.

A body to die for

Won't make it to 30 25.
Sadly, you are right.
-
He’s powerlifting, why are you guys expecting him to be ripped? If you want to move that weight you must be heavy.
-
Strong kid but in my day this would not be a legal squat.
A monolift and a buncha` goobers touching the plates would have gotten this one three red lights.
Strong kid though..............fuck ing animal.
-
Yeah crazy strong 18 yearold. But he is fucked. Look at his natural stance, his legs and toes flare out at some awkward looking angle. Bad injury/long term disability just waiting to happen.

Other than sumo wrestling , what other sport requires you to be obese to excel at it? Im not talking ripped- Im talking a healthy fat level ( sub 20%)

Kids who want to peak their strength early know more about effective cycles and effective dosages (more is more, and tren is the Nectar Of The Gods). Or their coaches do. And it's easier to get than ever before.
However, the following has to be considered. Greg Panora is as hardcore as they come and he juiced as much as he could. There are many oldtimer powerlifting legends who started juicing at 14/15.
-
Bloated face of kidney failure but his body isnt fat just stocky

I see...

A body to die for
Shopped. Here's a legit pic
-
Heavily wrapped legs and barely qualifies as a leglt powerlift squat for depth. This fat porker's biggest strength is is solid bone structure and also his core (abs, glutes, back) to be able to support that weight. Like to see his bench and deadlift (ideally all unassisted).
-
I don't have a problem with it, that kid is beast, but most of these super young phenoms don't tend to have staying power. Powerlifting seems to favor a middle to long strength development curve, at least as far a putting together a total goes. Will be interesting to see if it goes the usual huge squat, middle of the road bench, middle of the road deadlift pattern that seems to plague these types of lifters.

Youngins strong as fuck but is going through the prime years of life for getting smashed in clubs every weekend looking for sluts to fuck without any other care in the world fat as fuck and looking disgusting.
-
This ^. Well said, Wes!
Thank you my brother
When I powerlifted in the AAU back in the seventies, all we used was a belt, knee wraps, and some chalk.
We had to walk the bar out, break parralell, walk it back in and rack it.....no one was allowed to touch the bar unless you failed then of course the spotters came to the rescue.
-
Tbh real powerlifting is benching twice your bw and deadlifting/squatting 3 times your bw

They had PL back in the 1870s?

I believe that's correct, but Wes would have been dressed very differently back then for his lifts

THAT is NOT real powerlifting and just as an FYI when I weighed one hundred and fifty pounds, I did a strict bench press with three hundred pounds pounds THAT`S DOUBLE BDWYT. JUST IN CASE YOUR DUMB ASS CANT ADD.
Also at one hundred and sixty pounds I did a four hundred and five pound squat below paralell.
Never deadlifted all that much on a consistant basis but at one fifty five I remeber pulling four hundred and five.
Your turn....your best lifts please at your best bodyweight.
I have also used tons of weight in normal bb exercises......plus won over sixty seven trophies in bb,powerlifting, and odd lift contests.
Know your role newbie and know who the fuck you`re talking to before jumping bad.

Thank Rob,just dust collectors bud.
I have the more prestigious ones in the house, the rest are rotting away in my barn.

This was training though. Even with the safety straps every single safety precaution should be utilized. I don't know if people understand how heavy this is. There is the very real possibility that the slightest mishaps ends up crippling or even killing the kid.
-
Never saw Jerry Jones,Rhenhoudt,Fratto,Kuc,Gant, etc etc......ever do something akin to that.
Thank God.
-
Sometimes powerlifting is flat out just stupid
-
Little bastard is strong and his depth does look good. I have seen some squats the last few years on the internet that look to be 3 inches high and get passed. That being said Wes is absolutely correct in that it’s a whole different ball game walking That squat out of the racks. I have never used one of these contraptions.

You`re preaching to the choir my friend.
They ruined a perfectly good port with all this assistance crap and squaut suits and bench shirts..............gimm e a fucking break.
Ant the arch they use on benching is ridiculously stupid.

There were some early legendary powerlifters who "blew out their knees" but I just can't think of the names right now.
Another things I just remembered. In the early days they used ace bandages for knee wraps but some powerlifters put half a tennis ball behind each knee under the bandages. So questionable methods isn't something that only came about later on.
I don't know if this has been posted here before. How embarrassing. :D

I spent a couple hours one afternoon talking to Terry Todd about lifting. He was quite the historian and told me some of these same stories and of guys squatting in super tight blue jeans. I lifted in the late 70s and 80s and they kept a pretty close eye on what you wore.It was wraps and a single ply lifting suit.Once it was a great sport and to be honest I don’t follow it now too much
-
Heard of the very tight jeans but the tennis ball is a new one on me.
But you guys know if there`s a way to cheat, some folks will find it.
