At 2:11 or so. Never saw that 'ProSpot' Smith-type bench he's using (2:48). If the sensors in the bar die and you let go, could be "lights-out in London" for you.
Maybe why it never took off.

That is an interesting machine.
Priest was fantastic.
Note he fully locks out his movements.

I have posted about this machine a few times over the past years. There were quite few versions of it built here in the US. You could literally get them customized with anything you can think of. TVs, Bose speakers, etc. Those kinds usually plugged into the wall. I believe they (or some models) had a emergency battery that allowed several minutes operation should the power go out. They were priced too high for the ordinary home gym enthusiast. You can still find them at some places online or through P2P sales.

I'm guessing that's why it probably never took off. ($$$$).
An interesting concept.
I like the self-spotting thing, and the 'range of motion' thing like free-weights.
But the 'sensors in bar' not sure if I'd like/trust that or not.
The deep-dish Powertec plates Lee had are interesting, never saw those around before.

You can find them now for about 1/3 of the price online. I was interested a while back but passed on it. I wish at the time I had access to one to try it out before I passed on it.
