I've noticed Shell oil is switching to hydrogen and I just saw Total is changing their name to TotalEnergies.
Get ready to pay more for all forms of transportation and shipping. Fuel cells are very expensive and so is everything about hydrogen from production to storage.
Europe and California are banding together.

It's not possible at this time. We are centuries away from being able to actually accomplish a carbon neutral footprint.
They are just trying to move that direction as quickly as possible.
The left can't ban it, but they can regulate it heavily, which as you said will make prices skyrocket to ridiculous levels that have never been seen.
You can't have "green" energy without fossil fuels, it's all smoke and mirrors.
