2021 NPC/IFBB California Pro Contest - Candids and Special Stage Finals Pics

Had a good time at this contest, as this truly was the first one in California since Covid began that many of us were there without a mask inside. Over 1,000 people came to the evening contest, including Phil Heath, Jay Cutler, Samir Bannout, Melvin Anthony, Chris Cormier, Stan McQuay, Janet Layug. Jake Wood, owner of the Olympia, and Dan Solomon, Director of the Olympia, also came out.
The event was held at the Marriot Hotel in Anaheim, right next to the Anaheim Convention Center, and you could see California Adventure / Disneyland from the upper parking lot.

Yep, Melvin Anthony, one of the greatest posers on the stage. Have known him for a long time, actually went to one of his weddings overlooking Malibu Bluffs a long time ago. Was nice catching up with him, and seeing him there. He sat next to Chris Cormier, Samir Bannout, Jay Cutler...

Lol, I saw him interviewed a while ago and I think he is very comfortable having retired from competitive bodybuilding. Having three meals a day and not having to live so regimented.

That's refreshing to hear. I think Ontario and California are the two most insane territories in North America. I think that's objectively correct to say. So if California is finally getting over this 99.9% survivable virus, that gives me hope for Ontario.
