Title: Conspicuous Consumption
Post by: Primemuscle on July 08, 2021, 07:47:49 PM: While looking online at houses for sale in the neighborhood, I came across this monstrosity. Note, this 'chateau' is not next door to my little dump (by comparison), but it is in West Linn. I didn't know there were 68 acre parcels still available. The land was bought in 2019, so I am guessing the property taxes listed are on the land only or because it is a working farm they are almost $2,000 less than mine. I Noticed they dropped the price a couple of hundred thousand.
