There is a video on Hall's website (a week or two before WSM) with him sparring.
He is awful and pretty fat. Says he can go six rounds.
These guys will be out of gas after one round.

Hafthor just looks to slow and I can see him gassing 30 seconds into the fight. That fatso with the pads in that clip would probably outlast Hafthor.

Thor has had 2 exhibition fights, Hall has hit a bag in front of cameras. Right off the bat Thor has been hit/defended against opponents, Hall has peddled his supplement sponsors.

Hawthorn has had 2 exhibition fights already that is going to help him immensely he actually appears capable of moving around for a couple rounds. We have not yet determined if Eddie can do that. So right now I am handicapping towards Thor as he seems to be taking preparation more seriously.

They should forget boxing and do a real man to man dual: shirtless bench off, best of 3: most reps with 5 plates, 2 plates and 1 plate.

Tuneups wont matter, Eddies been working hard. Whoever lands, etc.
Example: Thor may have a useless glass-jaw, one hard punch, lights out. Same for Fat-Eddie...

Why would Eddie gas out? His cardio is not bad. He did running events even as a strongman and did not gas out. And now he has brought his weight down.

Same for me. I like Thor but what put me off was his complaining that Eddie should not have won WSM 2017. Hall beat him decisively and was stronger in shoulder press, squats and deadlift. He should have been the bigger man and accepted it instead he turned sour and said he was done with WSM after they released additional footage last year.

Like the guy. Affable. And in his prime, he was truly mighty. Some of his strength feats are beyond.

Yes! The only thing I don't like is Eddie admiring Arnold. Young Arnold was cool. Old Arnold is as big a cuck as Brady and Cena. No thanks! Dorian Yates would be a much better role model for Eddie.

I think Hafthor takes it if he just jabs, and just stays away from Hall for a while. He's slightly more athletic, has the longer reach, and is actually fighting guys in preparation for this, instead of just hitting the mitts.
Neither of these guys are going to set the boxing world on fire, but I can see Eddie getting flustered if Thor dodges for awhile, especially if he gets a few good shots in too.

I do like them both but this also put me off when his "team" got him to complain about that, then his tantrum afterwards when the video surfaced (which was also kind of shitty for an organization to do)

Eddies lack of technique is laughable. Hands down, snaps bicep throwing a punch, etc.
I could still see him winning if he lands, but one would think he would have some sort of basic technique to display at this point. (Hands up, etc).

He had actually trimmed down and was pretty lean for a while before getting fat again.
I'm gonna assume he never intended for this fight to go ahead. BS, but maybe he doesn't need the fight any more.

Yeah, although given the mismatch in experience I'm now thinking Pudz will do a Mayweather and take the fight the distance just for spectacle and maybe a rematch.

From what I've seen of Pudz, he's not exactly light on his feet, I think he ends it as quickly as he can.

That sucks. Eddie has power in his punches but needs to lose more weight and work on the basics. Hopefully he recovers from this injury. I don't want to see a 50% Eddie going against Thor. Eddie needs to focus on getting better and do some serious training in the background like Stallone in Rocky. No more trash talking. Just focus on getting it done.

It's been 4 years since he won WSM.
Either get back on the heavy juice and compete in WSM again or go back to the auto mechanic job.
