If you're looking for a good over-the-counter thermogenic, have a go at Lipo-6.

Solid product without ephedra...definately worth the cash

Thanks, Ill check it out.. How long did you take it? what results did you get?

I've only used a single bottle of this stuff....

Then again, I didn't need to buy anymore because I got the results I was looking for with just the one bottle.  I've talked to others that use Lipo-6 and seems everybody is very surprised at its effectiveness.

One of the only non-ephedra sups that I've actually liked in a long time.

I was sceptical at first, but I seemed to get some mileage out of Hot Rox.

The best thermogenic fat burners right now are 1.  Jet Fuel  (http://www.performancenutrition.com/Shopping/product.asp?catalog_name=Performance&category_name=&product_id=GAT-105)
2. Lipodrene (http://www.performancenutrition.com/Shopping/product.asp?catalog_name=Performance&category_name=&product_id=HI-114)
3.  Zenalean Pro  (http://www.performancenutrition.com/Shopping/product.asp?catalog_name=Performance&category_name=&product_id=NCL-100)
and
4.  Lipo 6 (http://www.performancenutrition.com/Shopping/product.asp?catalog_name=Performance&category_name=&product_id=NT-100)

Of these, my favorite is Jet Fuel http://www.performancenutrition.com/Shopping/product.asp?catalog_name=Performance&category_name=&product_id=GAT-105 (http://www.performancenutrition.com/Shopping/product.asp?catalog_name=Performance&category_name=&product_id=GAT-105)

Here we go heethens...one last time. Everyone write this down...

1 ephedrine Hcl tab at 25mg, 1 NoDoz which is 200mg of caffeine and 1 aspirin at 325mg. Before your morning cardio which should be at least 40 minutes and burning 100-120 calories every 10 minutes and...before your afternoon meal.

 Keep it basic and simple.

Taking asprin 3xday is a good way to burn a hole in your stomach and not effective for fat loss unless you're obese (and then only maybe)

Ditch teh quarter tab aspirin (75mg) and just use the ephedrine caffeine combo in a 1: 10 ratio of the compounds. On rising and then 30 mins before workout. Avoid taking it later in the day as it may disrupt sleep. For optimum results use sporadically as you'll build a tolerance rapidly.

just my 0.2 cents

Actually vasopro is ephedrine, but it works just as well! Ephedrine is the active ingredient in ephedra.

you can buy it at any gas station in Indiana....the good stuff not that herbal crap...only thing is now you have to sign for it and show id...they are cracking down on meth labs so they keep track of who buys the stuff....

I abused ephedrine by the hand full for years...that stuff is a very hard habit to kick...seriously.Like someone els said you build a tolerance to it very quickly...and before you know it you are taking the pills by the handfull to get the speed buzz...Once you take that stuff for awhile and then stop...it is like being on downers...VERY hard to get back to normal. The new law where you have to sign for it was finally what motivated me to kick that habit...I would advise you proceed with caution when using that stuff..resist the urge to up the dose cause you will get hooked on that crap.

You can now buy at many places.  Ripped fuel, Stacker 2 lite, etc.  Search online.  Get these formulas while you can.  The govt just banned the ephedra raw material from entering the US - so what's here is now it (for good).

Redline is awesome as well. Really does give you both a burning feeling as well as a chill feel. Of course at different times.  I prefer the caps over the liquid. Liquid tastes like cough syrup.

One product I used last year is Rev XP by NxCare. It helped me drop 25 lbs. in three months. It works great, without the heart-jumping-out-of-the-chest feeling I got when I used Hydroycut back in 2002 (when it had ma huang).

Once I've gained the mass I want, I may use it again. But, I'm eager to see what some of the newer fat-burners can do. So, I may try either Methyl-RIPPED by NxCare or Hydroxycut Hardcore.

I've considered using ThermoShred. But, I tried a sample of it a while back. It not only had me sweating, but my scalp was itching something awful. It felt as if someone were smacking me in the head with a cactus.

Anyone try Hydroxycut Hardcore?  Results?

I may give it a whirl, in about a month or two. Incidentally, I read about it on a site called "Supplement Judge", where posters rate certain supplements. The reviews are good, as many claim it's helped them burn off bodyfat rather quickly. The consensus downsides appear to be inability to sleep, constant urination, and....RED FECES!!!

CLA is definately a solid product, but I don't think it's 'thermogenic' by definition.  Of course, I may be wrong....

Eph and Caffeine are the cheapest route to go if you have the means.  If not....I'll still stand by Lipo

i lived on ephedra for way too long, so synephrine products don't really do anything for me..... and i hated Lipo 6 (its basically and ECY stack but with synephrine.... im pretty sure)..... Hydroxycut Hardcore and Redline are pretty good they have evodiamine.... really give you a kick.....

Conjugated linoleic acid supplementation for 1 y reduces body fat mass in healthy overweight humans

American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Vol. 79, No. 6, 1118-1125, June 2004
Background: Short-term trials showed that conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) may reduce body fat mass (BFM) and increase lean body mass (LBM), but the long-term effect of CLA was not examined. Objective: The objective of the study was to ascertain the 1-y effect of CLA on body composition and safety in healthy overweight adults consuming an ad libitum diet. Design: Male and female volunteers (n = 180) with body mass indexes (in kg/m2) of 25–30 were included in a double-blind, placebo-controlled study. Subjects were randomly assigned to 3 groups: CLA-free fatty acid (FFA), CLA-triacylglycerol, or placebo (olive oil). Change in BFM, as measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry, was the primary outcome. Secondary outcomes included the effects of CLA on LBM, adverse events, and safety variables. Results: Mean (± SD) BFM in the CLA-triacylglycerol and CLA-FFA groups was 8.7 ± 9.1% and 6.9 ± 9.1%, respectively, lower than that in the placebo group. Subjects receiving CLA-FFA had 1.8 ± 4.3% greater LBM than did subjects receiving placebo (P = 0.002). These changes were not associated with diet or exercise. LDL increased in the CLA-FFA group, HDL decreased in the CLA-triacylglycerol group, and lipoprotein(a) increased in both CLA groups  compared with month 0. Fasting blood glucose concentrations remained unchanged in all 3 groups. Glycated hemoglobin rose in all groups from month 0 concentrations, but there was no significant difference between groups. Adverse events did not differ significantly between groups. Conclusion: Long-term supplementation with CLA-FFA or CLA-triacylglycerol reduces BFM in healthy overweight adults.

So you would say, based on this study, that CLA is the best thermogenic supplement?  What metabolic pathways does CLA workthrough?  Also, a year is a pretty long time...

Nope Sniffy, not what I'm saying at all.  If you had read my above post, I said that ephedrine and caffeine is the best if you have the means.

I said CLA was a solid product in answer to another's question.  Although CLA is not thermogenic,.  Princess L asked what I based that opinion on.....therefore, I posted that study.

Hmm.....I feel like I'm being cross-examined here

The aspirin isnt for fatloss, it helps delay the breakdown of cAMP

What he meant was that aspirin has been linked to pathological conditions such as GERD and gatroesophageal ulcers. It inhibits pain via cAMP breakdown but it increase HCL production in the stomach. I know it is a proven stack and have used it myself, but I would drop the aspirin out of the stack if I were to use it now.

If you reference CLA in the AJCN you will see there are other studies which show it to have no effect in humans.  I think to say it is solid based upon one study is a bit of a stretch.

I like Thermocin by At Large.

A solid thermogenic supplement. Delivers results, no more, no less. Unlike a lot of other bullshit companies who uses manipulated pics and shit.

Beware of the sneaky sponsored athletes who prowls on this site though. They're trying to push At Large products for some reason.
