A federal judge in Colorado sanctioned lawyers who challenged the 2020 presidential election results, calling their election claims “fantastical.”
U.S. Magistrate Judge N. Reid Neureiter issued an opinion Wednesday sanctioning Ernest Walker and Gary Fielder over the lawsuit. Neurinter further slammed the plaintiffs for a sloppy cut and paste job of copying claims that had already been dismissed elsewhere, including a tweet from Trump baselessly claiming that Dominion deleted 2.7 million Trump votes nationwide. The lawyers' 'massive cut-and-paste job' recycled claims from other failed lawsuits including the utter failure of the lawsuit which was filed by Sidney Powell.
Other pro-Trump attorneys appear to be headed for a similar fate.

Dominion Voting Systems Corp on Tuesday sued two conservative media networks, One America News Network and Newsmax Media Inc, saying they defamed the U.S. voting machine company by spreading false claims that it rigged the 2020 election against then-U.S. President Donald Trump.
Dominion also filed a lawsuit making similar allegations against businessman Patrick Byrne, the former chief executive of online retailer Overstock.com Inc.
The lawsuits are the latest legal actions taken by Denver-based Dominion against Trump allies that amplified false theories about the firm.
In each of the three lawsuits filed on Monday, Dominion is seeking more than $1.6 billion in damages, citing lost profits and other harms.
In a statement, Newsmax said, "While Newsmax has not reviewed the Dominion filing, in its coverage of the 2020 Presidential elections, Newsmax simply reported on allegations made by well-known public figures, including the President, his advisors and members of Congress — Dominion’s action today is a clear attempt to squelch such reporting and undermine a free press."
Fox made similar arguments in a May court filing asking a judge to dismiss the case against it, saying that news outlets "must be able to report both sides of a story involving claims striking at the core of our democracy."
Newsmax in April apologized to a Dominion employee for baselessly alleging that he rigged the company's vote counts against Trump. In exchange, the employee, Eric Coomer, dropped Newsmax from a defamation lawsuit.
OANN representatives and Byrne did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Trump continues to falsely claim that he lost to Democratic President Joe Biden due to rampant electoral fraud, claims that were rejected by multiple courts, state election officials and members of his own administration.
Trump allies, including lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, picked up an online conspiracy theory that Dominion machines were used to hack the election, and made those baseless allegations during appearances on the conservative television stations.
Giuliani and Powell, who have also been sued by Dominion, say they were lawfully exercising their free speech rights.
In a call with reporters, Dominion attorney Stephen Shackelford of the Susman Godfrey law firm did not rule out suing Trump.
"We are still exploring options as to how to hold other participants in the campaign of lies accountable," Shackelford said.

Ed Solomon, who One America News presented as an "expert mathematician", who claimed to uncover evidence that the 2020 election was rigged. Solomon claimed that he conducted a mathematical analysis showing that the results in Fulton County, Georgia, "can only have been done by an algorithm." He added that the probability of Biden's victory in the county was "1 over 10 to an exponent so large there's not enough stars in the universe, there aren't enough atoms in the universe, to explain the number."
Facts show that Solomon is not an "expert mathematician" as OAN claimed, but "was in fact a convicted felon with no college degree." The lawsuit said Solomon's "current job was setting up swing sets in Long Island, New York."

Mike Lindell Loses It On Reporter As His Cyber Symposium Disintegrates.
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s disastrous “Cyber Symposium” concluded on Thursday without offering any of his promised evidence of fraud in the 2020 election.
But when confronted by a reporter, Lindell claimed he couldn’t show the evidence, as he’d promised, because of something-something, the media.
“I have that proof with my people that we’re bringing to the Supreme Court,” Lindell told CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan. “I don’t need the media driving the narrative before my case to the Supreme Court.”
That excuse was in sharp contrast to his claims leading up to the event, in which he promised to deliver “100%, non-subjective evidence” that Donald Trump won the election. (He didn’t.)
Lindell swore his evidence would be so strong that the Supreme Court would unanimously rule in his favor, that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris would resign and that Trump would be reinstated on Aug. 13.
Instead, the supposed evidence was described by one of Lindell’s own experts as a “turd.”
O’Sullivan brought election security expert Harri Hursti to Lindell’s event to analyze anything he produced.
“We expected a huge pile of data which we wouldn’t be able to understand and how it can be evidence,” Hursti said. “We didn’t expect there’s no pile of anything.”

Mike Lindell Predicts Trump's Fantastical Reinstatement Before Year's End.
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has once again moved back his expected timetable for Donald Trump’s magical reinstatement to the presidency, this time divining that the historic and utterly fantastical event will occur sometime before 2021 ends.
If it doesn’t happen, he added ominously, “there is no 2022 and 2024.”
“By the morning of Aug. 13, it will be the talk of the world,” Lindell said in July, envisioning Trump’s grand return. People, he predicted, would be saying: “Hurry up! Let’s get this election pulled down, let’s right the right. Let’s get these communists out.”
But Lindell hedged his forecast late last month, even before his first prediction had a chance to flop, when he said Trump’s reinstatement might actually happen in September, once he finally presents the Supreme Court with all his supposed proof of a fraudulent election.
Now, Lindell has moved the goalposts again, though he maintains Trump will reassume the presidency sometime before the end of the year.

Jim Bakker, the 1980s televangelist and convicted fraudster whose flock-fleecing was exposed after he paid hush money to an employee who accused him of sexual misconduct, is back in business thanks to Trump, Qanon and covid conspiracy theories. Yesterday, he reportedly claimed that God can't hear you when you're wearing a mask. "How can you go to church and pray when you're wearing a mask? Do you think God can hear your prayers through a mask?"
But anyone who believes in the bible will remember Matthew 6:6: When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

A few days ago, however, Florida’s daily death rate cleared 200 for the first time, and today it stands at 228 — an all-time high.

Disney Cruise Line has joined Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian in planning to require COVID vaccines for passengers 12 and older. Gov. DeSantis, meanwhile, is busily defending the law that he pushed for, and the Legislature passed in the spring, that prevents businesses including cruise companies from requiring vaccines for service.
The governor and legislative Republicans have tried to sell their ban as a matter of personal liberty, even though it’s clear that being vaccinated is the best way to prevent infection. They also floated the notion that they were trying to protect minorities because — see if you can follow this reasoning — a higher percentage of white people has been vaccinated than Black or Hispanic people, therefore requiring vaccines of ship passengers amounts to discrimination. Got it?
After that sort of cobbled-together nonsense, we welcomed Norwegian CEO Frank Del Rio’s fresh and unflinching assessment of the matter. On Yahoo Finance last week, he called the situation “beyond bizarre,” “shameful” and a failure of governmental leadership. He noted that Florida relies on tourism: “And the No. 1 priority of any hospitality business is to keep their customers safe.”
So why is DeSantis, ostensibly a pro-business Republican, fighting against Florida businesses and common sense?
In the interview last week, Norwegian’s Del Rio was bubbling over with the same frustration and anger we feel: “I mean, come on, give it up. This is a pandemic we are talking about, people are dying every day, Florida now is the epicenter of the epicenter. What does it take for sound judgment to rule?”
