For a while I experimented with eating lots (about 4 lbs a day) of nightshade vegetables which I think turned my hair whiter because I just powered through the side effect. To have valuable insight you have to really test something for awhile. I include animal fat in the form of ghee. I have restored my hair better than it was before again by quitting nightshades.

I find butter restores glossy skin really good on sweetpotatoes
Food makes changes on levels we cannot percieve or over look. Oatmeal is the best for teeth and gums
