Both of you are slightly off. There is a 2x capsule dosage in 3B phase at this moment. If it hits 4 it will probably be approved. Do the math. 10 shots or capsules. Pzifer is jumping on it under their current approval. Rest assured Pzifer will come out with nasal spray now. Same half-ass bullshit they have in the syringe in capsule and spray forms. Oh goodie!
Remember Pzifer has the NIH and an FDA commissioner with inside connections in their pocket.

Yup. And I am COVID free and have every expectation that I will continue to be so. As for taking a pill to lesson the symptoms of COVID, should I somehow get it....well, I'll make that decision if and when the time comes. I don't have much experience with these types of medications since I rarely ever get sick, have a headache or indigestion. Once in a while, I do take an Aleve if my arthritis is really annoying me. Oh and every so often, if my allergies get out of control, I'll take a Claritin. My experience is that Zinc does work to ward off a cold if taken quickly enough. You did read that these COVID pills are not meant to prevent COVID, but rather to lessen the symptoms. So, even if you are an antivaxxer and you unfortunately get COVID they might come in handy.

Sitting in your house all the time is quite different from those working with people day in and day out. My desk at my retirement job can have as many as 10 people near it.

Greed and lust for power. Big Pharma and Big Tech have made billions from the Wuhan flu. The Democratic party has gathered millions in donations from Big Tech and Big Pharma while gaining power. You are right 'tons' are COVID free. Some of those who are COVID free may have had the virus, but were fortunately asymptomatic so there is really no way to know how many people never caught it. Current studies suggest most people will test positive for COVID for 9 months following having the virus regardless of whether you had symptoms or not. So if everyone got tested we might have a clearer picture of how many people have actually had COVID.

I actually go out every so often....like to run errands, go to the doctor, have lunch out, daily trips to the grocery store, etc. Today, I've been to the audiologist (who required proof of COVID vaccine), stopped at Starbucks on the way home to get a chai latte, went to the hygienist who is a cute as can be and a real chatty Kathy, to have my pearly whites cleaned, then to Walmart for some Chapstick and Burgerville for a burger and fries, which I shared with my great-granddaughter who kept repeating "fries" whenever she wanted another one.
I'm home now for a little while. Might go to Safeway later this afternoon to get a bottle of Rancho La Gloria Margarita Wine Cocktail and a quart Haagen-Dazs coffee ice cream. What can I say, I'm living on the edge! LOL
But, I know what you mean. It is different when you work. The first year I worked in a school along side a good sized staff and hundreds of germy kids, it seemed like I was sick with something every month. The next year, I didn't get sick once. That's probably because I'd built up an immunity to all those germs and viruses. If I were to go back to work now, I'd probably have to do that first year of building up my immunity all over again.

Risk factors, specially age seems to be changing as the virus mutates. While the bulk of folks hospitalized and/or dying from COVID is still the old and infirmed, it is increasingly affecting younger people....people your age.
By they, I guess you mean employers and businesses. The medical profession and government leadership recommends getting the COVID vaccines. To the best of my knowledge they aren't mandating it unless it is for their staff. Private colleges and some public ones are mandating students be vaccinated if they wish to continue attending. Like I mentioned, my audiologist asked to see my 'vaccine passport' which they put into my record. I had the option of refusing and they had the option of refusing me service.
The longer COVID is with us and the worse it gets (if it gets worse) the greater the likelihood of vaccine mandates. So, if you are adamant about not getting vaccinated, it might be wise to develop a strategy now before the pressure gets really intense. One idea would be to find a doctor who is against the vaccine and get a written statement from them as to why you cannot be vaccinated....for health reasons. Another is to affiliate with a religious organization that eschews vaccinations and medical interventions.
Those who are not vaccinated should prepare for the possibility of being refused service or admission. No doubt there will be lawsuits that challenge this on the basis of freedom of choice in a free county.
Without a doubt if not now, eventually some companies and organizations will profit from COVID treatments. Not sure I agree with you about control though. Who and why does anyone want control in this situation?
