Ever pump out moderate tempo speed full ass to the grass body weight squats for 50 reps? Not like cross fit guys flopping down but controlled squats. It's pumps the thighs like crazy.

I do and my legs work great. I can wipe out 99.9% of guys my age running and jumping.

They sure do. A lot of pro wrestlers used to do them along with pushups every morning.

But did your legs grow in size?
Endurance is another thing entirely.
Nubret did this for cutting up pre-contest while loaded up with drugs, not for building mass.
If this built mass then marathon runners would be huge.
However, I'm willing to give you chance. Measure your quads today, do high rep bodyweight squats for three months (no other quad work) and then re-measure. You may be on to something.

totally different, squats are anaerobic if done under constant tension and running is aerobic

One of my friends does nothing but bodyweight workouts, lots of free standing squats with no weights, lunges, etc.
His legs are tiny.
He does it for health not muscle.
I do believe that sissy squats with weights can work very well. We used to do them when i trained for Olympic lifting.

Ugh fuck me. I used this apparatus this morning (not like this though). I don't often, was just changing things up. Glad I didn't see this before I worked out.

They're not anaerobic if you're doing 50-100 reps in multiple sets.
Then they are endurance training. Nothing wrong with that but you won't build size.

Always sucked at physics but even i could tell that would not work out without severe consequences.
