I’ve been saying it for two years, this is a currency devaluation scheme disguised as a healthcare crisis. The real fear is of inflation. They don’t want another Weimar Republic.

It looks more than that to be honest. We are full on transitioning to working from home, reduced consumption, reduced travel. We already have UBi holding up employment otherwise we’d already be at 20% and setting shit on fire.
Inflation doesn’t matter as much when it’s offset by reduction of consumption. Buying less cars, less holidays, less tvs is a heck of a lot different environment to not affording food. Nobody is complaining about starvation, we have a loooong way to go.
