Arnold was bigger, taller, better conditioned than Sergio. Arnold destroyed him on bits and chest.

Sergio may look good alone in a picture, but put him next to Schwarzenegger and he disappears

Great pic!
Surprisingly I don’t think I’ve seen it before.

Oliva was overrated. He was ridiculously muscular with huge arms sure, but his proportions were way off.

Tbh it was close but Arnold had something that others didn't have, he had charisma

Nearly 50 years ago and it's being debated, lol? Geesh. All of Weider's contests were fixed.

No they weren't.
-
Arnold won because of superior conditioning and posing, the complete package.
He apparently even suggested using the brown wooden background (to give him an advantage as he would be clearer) and said he stood as close as possible to the edge of the stage, in front of Sergio, to look bigger.
-
Sergio’s arms were big, but had shitty shape and zero split or definition between the bicep/tricep. Arnold destroys him honestly.

He was a great strategist.

He was a great strategist.
He would also always think of every tiny detail which could help him win.

Arnold looked pretty amazing.

Tricking Sergio to walk off stage with him and then coming back out was a perfect example.

Lol- like you knew. Much has been written about how Weider preferred Arnold over Sergio.
-
I recall watching this on ABC's Wide World of Sports. I saw Sergio and thought that's it. "No one can beat that!" and then out came Arnold. Like Carl Spackler said "..."That's all she wrote!".
-
:o
-
I think that if the Weider’s rigged the contests, they would’ve had Lou Ferrigno place ahead of Serge Nubret in 1975.

:)

You said they all were rigged. Are you saying all of Haney, Arnold, Sergio, Yates, Coleman, Cutler, etc, Olympias were rigged. None of those titles were won legitimately?
