Title: Ben Crump Calling For Justice In Burlington Coat Factory Shooting
Post by: Vince G, CSN MFT on December 28, 2021, 03:47:41 PM: Sigh....there is no way he could see behind the dressing room, the suspect was trying to beat women to death with a bike lock, blood all over the floor, and it appears that a Nubian officer was the one who put down the suspect.

I say.....10 million dollar settlement and 15 years prison for all of the police officers involved including the dispatcher for saying the suspect had a gun because the caller said he had a gun and was shooting. Yep...case closed. :-\

It was over for a softer approach when people started to call in that the suspect had a gun. The end with the mother screaming is horrible.

It was a tragedy but it was accidental

Doesn’t have to be a firearm. How did they know he didn’t have one. There are conflicting eyewitnesses. One said he had one the other said he didn’t. Albeit the cop didn’t know who was in the dressing and should have either taken a different angle away from the room or waited until the suspect stepped away

Agree, but why the escalation in firepower? The officers Service pistol is adequate for this type of situation.
