What's under his shirt bouncing the bar?
A foam pad. I once did 405 the same way for 12 many years ago. I could legit do 405 for 6-7 at the time. So it adds a lot but the guy is very strong.

Are you ever gonna train me joe?

What's under his shirt bouncing the bar?
Foam

To overload the top end of the movement.
People do it with phonebooks too.
-
lol, why hide those three foam pads under his shirt?
Also, that guy looks like he's 55 years old. I can't believe he's still in his 30s.

The hell is a zogbot?

He seems to enjoy training, and is quite strong. He posted a video last week deadlifting 495x4 with ease.

Using the chains would add progressive weight without involving bouncing and momentum. Wouldn't that be safer?
-

I’d assume “zog” is short for Zionist occupied government and that he is a bit for that. I only know zog because I looked it up one time after watching American History X.

Safer how?
Do you think someone will crack their sternum?

Do you think someone will crack their sternum?
I suppose it is possible. Maybe not even "crack" it but perhaps injure the cartilage or tendons in that area from the repetitions. Bouncing movements never struck me as safe lifts but I'm just an average gym rat I'm no expert. I've never tried the foam but have used the chains. I've tried bands too but the bands never feel quite right.
-
Thats awesome
-
I don't think the pads are for bouncing, they are just limiting the ROM to the top.

Dude, I just about dropped a deuce from laughing so hard. :D

Hahaha glad I could make you laugh.

They are not supposed to be for bouncing but it ends up giving you a nice boost thru the bottom of each following rep. Like I said still very strong but prob good for 10-12 without it.

Colostomy bag.
-
Not sure why he's using the pads, but that lift was impressive as hell either way. Dude could do 315 for 10 without them I'm guessing.

Dudes a friggen beast….
