Good for you for standing your ground!

If there's one thing I hate about this vaccine requirement, it's not being able to go to the USA anymore.

I remember before, a big incentive not to get a conviction for something petty was potentially losing American travel privileges.

Now that I've already lost them - why the fuck would I care?

I'm talking about selling steroids or something. Not that I ever wanted to, necessarily. I'm just saying I used to think of what the worst consequence of that would be - and it was losing the right to travel to the USA.

Now, I may as well be considered a violent offender, since I can't go anyway.

Good for you for standing your ground, Coach.

I put off trips to Germany and France for the same reason. I'll give them a year and let them discover the side effects of mRNA first, haha.

BTW, a neighbor of mine was all hot for the vax a year ago- kept telling us all that it was the smart thing to do. Next thing you know she is diagnosed with cancer- at 48 years old. I know, coincidence.

Do you think this bullshit will subside by then?

If there is a lull in this, I can start setting up duel citizenship stuff with the USA.

Or even just visiting Minnesota for a day would be good [Grand Portage is 45 minutes from my house].

I have been putting it off too, hoping world governments would become less insane. Make international travel a headache, fine. But I hope they give up the vaccine requirement.

No idea. But I'm not getting this vaxx, ever. Just not enough testing, period.

Do get dual citizenship - you won't regret it.

is the neighbor obese?   does she smoke or drink excessively?  what type of cancer and what symptoms did she have to get checked for cancer?   I'm curious

I glossed over that.

Thank you for asking about that, Getbigger From the Past, Bast.

48 is way too young to get cancer.  :(

Well, at least I don’t turn out free trips to Paris. I just time them right so I can have one long-ass delicious cheat meal, to prevent going catabolic.

My long term health (or even immediate) is worth more than a free trip to Paris. Ask my wife, kids and Grandson

Just get a non MRNA vaccine like novavax , its basically just giving yourself covid, Paris is a shithole people wise but the city's history is amazing plus cornering a world title, why deny yourself what could be a great experience, when the non MRNA vaccines are really no different or dangerous than getting covid, which at some point we will all get.

Is that what the current data is showing, or are you basing that on precedent?

I've only been looking at the mRNA vaccine disaster. I didn't even know there was a non-mRNA one out.

It wouldn't much matter to me, because I already had Covid, the manufacturer indemnity clause guarding Big Pharma from lawsuits is still present, and I don't generally get flu shots.

But that's good information to have.

Do you know if be there is a consensus about what you said based on current data?

If you really want to go, do this.

I’m pulling out of a Germany trip in October myself. My wife doesn’t want to get the booster and you have to have had the shot or a booster within 12 months to go Germany.

Novavax isn't available yet in the USA.  I doubt it ever will be due to politics and commitments to Big Pharma.

There are zero non-MRNA vaccines beside the J&J available in the USA.

Bullshit you can get steak and frites with creme brulee at 1am in a packed restaurant on every corner meanwhile in America the kitchen closes at 9

Get a vaccine. Wear a mask. And still get covid regardless.  Especially now the pharmas have all but admitted the current vaccine can’t stop Omnicron

The food in Paris is exceptional.  With the exception of a weak ass protein lacking typical breakfast (that you can work around) and that stupid ass bread that is hard as a damn rock.

Are you the same phony "coach" who was complaining about long term COVID and said you thought you wouldn't make it?

Rob, sorry to hear about that but happy they’re both recovering. This virus is no joke. I’m still deal with extreme fatigue even after having it in August. Some days I’m fine others all I want to do sleep. Long Covid.

My wife fully recovered. Flexicon was dead on about the oxygen levels. We have an oximeter and that’s basically how we monitored ourselves. We literally thought we wouldn’t make it. Right now about a 1/3 of our football team is down with it but most are asymptomatic

Maybe in Kitty Hawk. Lots of major cities in the US have restaurants open late.

I think the food in Spain and Italy is vastly superior to that in Paris. Creme brulee sucks. All that hard sugary layer gets stuck to your teeth and the custard layer is like some kind of lame vanilla Cosby pudding pop. Admit it - you'd rather have a peach cobbler anyway.

Proud of you Coach. Not many men will stick to their guns and beliefs when it comes down to making potential financial decisions and many relent because they are slaves to money. Keep up the good fight.

Most international airlines will not allow check-in without a Covid passport.

Some airports also do not allow arrival without it.

With others that do not require it, on arrival one would have to probably spend 2 weeks in quarantine at one's own expense, usually in a hotel.

If you are someone who needs to or wants to travel, you have no choice really.

No covid passport to Sint Maarten or Saint Barth’s. Just test 48 hours before arrival and you have to test the day before you come back to the States. I don’t think anything is required in Mexico.

Paris is a shithole you aren't missing anything. Probably the worst city in Europe.

It's going downhill very fast.

My first trip was in 2003. Second trip was 2018.

Saw such a big difference in general across Paris.

France itself remains mostly the same. Beautiful countryside. Good food, nice people until they realize you are an American. ;D

I prefer Germany, Italy or Switzerland.

But if you have never been to France it's worth the effort, just don't spend all your time in Paris. Very overrated.

She's not obese. Actually pretty athletic (martial arts) Non smoker, average drinker. She started feeling sick a month or so after the vax. Then they diagnosed her with cancer. She is in chemo- all of her hair fell off, etc.
