So he should. The worst example I remember was an article in AWFL favorite Harper's Bazaar which didn't just call him a racist or impugn him with unsubstantiated claims. They wrote that Rittenhouse shot Huber and then gunned down Grosskreutz as Grosskreutz was rendering medical aid to Huber.
There's no way to say that's an opinion. It simply never happened.

I also remember a major US news outlet, think CBS, possibly NBC, play the video but black out the entire screen before Rittenhouse falls. Then they "told you" what was happening behind the blackout.
"After killing a BLM protester, Rittenhouse flees."
"Rittenhouse shoots protestor Anthony Huber."
"Rittenhouse shoots another man."
No reasons for why he shot. Like they were attacking him. I'd seen the full video previously, so the misrepresentation was obvious and surprising to me. That was the moment I lost faith in the media. Holy shit. The news really is fake.
If lawsuits can stop irresponsible reporting then bring 'em on. This epistemological crisis needs a solution. Feeding the public bullshit and then setting them lose on each other will end a nation.
