Picking up from Gregzs post on the photo thread, Iranian pro Issac Ghavidel has died at age only 35, from cancer:

Well yes off course, roids and GH do cause or aggravate certain cancers. Nice photoshopping pics.
-
Sounds like osteosarcoma. Maybe from GH.

It sped up Dennis Newman's leukemia. He had to get chemo right after he turned pro in '94.

Way too young.
RIP

Growth hormone is like pouring sugar on roaches when it comes to cancer. Damn shame

Totally worth it.
Better to die a miserable, painful death at 35, having lived to your limit as a thong warrior, than to grow old, experiencing a life with family, friends, beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

While steroid use can possibly accelerate cancer growth, it also can give you a better chance at beating it, because what many cancer patients die from is actually the extreme wasting that comes along with chemotherapy. In Dennis Newman's case, bodybuilding may have saved his life in that he had an extra 50 lbs. of lean body mass to spare, so that after extreme chemo he was still over 200 lbs. Had he begun chemo at a "healthy" bodyweight of 170 lbs. to start, he likely would not have survived. But he's here nearly 30 years later.
In fact oxandrolone is prescribed for cancer patients for the wasting of chemo.

i believe it was stated somewhere they contributed his tumor growth to peptide use
he could of been pumping high gh or igf doses - it was some type of rare cancer and got away from him fast

I remember that. If you saw his post-chemo pics, he looked like a healthy, slightly-larger-than-normal-sized guy. It's only relative to his mega-sized 280-lb self would you know he was ever sick.
He even tried to make a comeback. But, I don't think he quite gained all of his size back and some of his bodyparts looked atrophied, compared to his form when he won the USA. I often referred to Newman as a giant-version of Bob Paris. If Paris were Newman's size, he may have won the Olympia once or twice.

Right after he got out of the hospital and chemo.

Vince food isnt the issue for roach survival, they can live eating anything, they also can live for months without eating anything. However without water a cockroach will die within a week.
Water would be the proper accelerant to use in this instance.

Would pouring sugar on roaches have no impact on their population?
