i thought he would come back all along simply because the "retirement" was way too quiet for an athlete of his status, normally guys like that get a big send off they don't just make a social media post saying they are done

I see no reason why he can't play till 45-46, am 100% sure defenders aren't allowed to sack him.  Top free agent QBs.  League is worst than the NBA.
