Post by: 6 Reps on March 24, 2022, 08:12:21 PM
Next month Jay Cutler is launching an NFT line.  There will be only 9600 of them and the price is yet to be determined:

NFT stands for “non-fungible token.”  As best as I understand it, and I’m old too, an NFT is like a piece of artwork that you pay for and it is yours.  Apparently though if you buy one of Cutler’s you will get more than the artwork (or to me it’s just a screensaver or photo).

Perhaps some other posters here have a better explanation of NFT’s than I.

That's how I understand it too. With the music NFT's, you might get a special version of the album, various different art works associated with it, etc.... Some of the much more expensive ones give you ownership of a tiny part of the album and might pay royalties down the road, etc....

It seems goofy to me, like digital baseball cards.

I'd rather own Nasser's soiled thong.

In Jay's case, it's a non-fridgible token
