Ok, I'm watching it now.

If I recall correctly, Kali Muscle has been huge since at least as far back as 2002-2003.

Did he never think this could happen to him?

I mean no disrespect, but the man was massive and shredded year-round, for years and years.

Didn't he know this could happen?

It sounds like he's interested in putting bodybuilding on his rearview, and by the looks of him, he has dropped in size a little as well.

Good for him for doing that.

I hope he's able to focus on health, recover from the damage he suffered, and live several decades longer. I wish him the best.

2008 sounds about right, that was the year he was serious about trying to turn pro. Before that he was personal training, drug dealing, pimping, and stripping, etc.....
