It would be revealing to see the unretouched images of the photoshoots because, as much as they're trying to have you believe that they're promoting a more realistic image for some women, they are also removing/censoring their cellulite, stretchmarks, etc... and giving readers an unrealistic glimpse of a fat person's skin, not to mention the makeup, camera filters, and lighting involved.

This is a really good point. If a realistic image of women were the goal you'd think hair and makeup would be the first things to go. Perhaps the model would be a middle aged woman of average height and weight.

There are some women who look great being a little fat, certainly prefer that to a little too skinny. Some girls carry weight well. But this is just a bit beyond that and the agenda behind this is extra disgusting.
