Does Phil still have it to compete and win a 8th Mr Olympia title?
.
-
He's only 42. When Shawn Rhoden won, Rhoden was 43.
So it's possible.
But I'm with Big Ramy, it's hard to say.
Is Ramy competing this year?
-
BHANKS RIGHT NOW > PHIL HEATH RIGHT NOW
-
He’s in an oversized shirt and pants at an Expo …. Does he still have what???!!!??!!!
-
That young schome grabbing Phils arm like that had no respect!
-
Impressive arms but he's done. Narrow and the gut and hernia will not get any better.

Those arms are withering.
Shit’s deflating and the breadbasket is an increasing mess.
Stick a fork in him.
-
Why were those young unknown schmoes grabbing his flexed arm? Ive never seen anyone do that before and those two did it right after some another.

I was a little surprised they did that. Usually, men don't like their arms touched and grabbed unless it's by a hot girl

he is still on gas and same size
he could and probobly plans to come back for a few more
with ramy out and choopan shoulders pointy as ever
that they told him to fix, but he wont
he could easily win this year if he wanted too
then he would only need 1 more
to be the all time great

Wait I thought you were a Hankins fan? We start copying his style and you’re upset?
Maybe Jay can come back and win another one as well? Phil was great, but he’s not winning another O.
-
you dont think he could win another eh?
why is that?
-
His midsection is a mess.
Let me clarify my point. Can he win another one? Yes. But I think the judges have moved on, was Rhoden better than Heath, I think most would say no but the judges spoke and Phil needs to be better than he had been.
I think Heath is better than Curry or Ramy but do the judges feel that way?

Phil with his buddy Jay Cutler on Day 2 of the LA Fit Expo. If I am not mistaken, it sounds like Phil is NOT coming back to compete:

Damn good post, epic.
I really hadn't thought of that.
I mean, really, let's do the math here:
Big Ramy is out, and I heard Shawn Rhoden won't be competing either. Since Dexter has retired, Brandon Curry is inconsistent, and Choopan has suspect delts [which I'm starting to notice now], then...who does it leave?
Seems like the open class has been thinned out somewhat by the other categories.
Really, it's almost a victory by exclusion, more than anything else.
He very well may be declining...but it's not a competition against past versions of himself, it's about who is the best on the day of.
And both Ronnie and Rhoden won at older ages than Phil is now.
It could happen!

I think so too but it makes me wonder if you watch the Jay Cutler video. At the beginning it sounds like Phil is saying No to it. This could be just cover so He can train in private before the contest and just show up to compete.

I heard that as well but it's not official unless an industry insider like Vince confirms it.

curry might be out too but even if in he is far to smooth and small to beat phil
the others choopan= done for wont fix shoulder
walker could be 3rd
i kind of like that rodriques guy
but he is a bit thin in the legs
-
NoPe .
He could be top 5 ...
Last time he competed he was gifted 3r place as he did not look better than Choopan " ... that was what, 3 years ago ?
I have yet to see a bodybuilder with gut problems getting better with age , his legs will keep losing size as he tries to get the mid section tight ...
even Hunter and Walker can kick his ass (Levroneee comeback mode) still gas left in the tank my ass
He could try the Arnold maybe ?
WoooSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH battle of the legeds keep the Hype rolling bitches

Jay steal your dogs bro?

If the judges want the aesthetic look Curry beats Heath at this point, he beat him last time they competed at the O and Curry has gotten better. If they want the Freak it's going to be Walker although Lunsford is looking great. Gaspari will get a another gift and chopin will still be up there somewhere. Maybe one of the other monsters dials it in. But its Curry over Heath at this point if they go aesthetic
-
He's still big. Those white schmoes were so annoying
-
NO!
-
Funny. I met those dogs the day before when the girl in the video was manning Jay's booth. I guess the guy has good taste ;D
