Anyone else?
I think it’s because I always do it at the end of my workout so I’m low-energy and just want to leave.
It’s also just a boring/uninteresting muscle group to exercise.

I believe it's largely unnecessary if you're squatting and deadlifting.
Do some one arm farmers carries or something during conditioning and you're fine.

I used to do lots of sprints which I think are among the best ab-workers, but one of my hips is all fucked up now and sprinting all-out is pretty much off the table.

I am still very fast, strong, and brave so abs are fine.

I have a conceptually related theory here on why most people’s calves suck (not saying your calves suck mighty Henda, this is just a general thought).
Most people do one or two worthless pump-sets at the end of a leg workout and complain their calves won’t “grow”. If you trained your chest or your quads like that, they’d probably suck too. Abs I think get some good indirect stimulus from things like deadlifts and squats but not so for calves.

Genetics also play a big part. I've probably done less then five CALF exercises my whole life and mine are bigger and more defined then most including muscle heads that train them once a week.
I always wondered if my younger years played a lot into that, I played sports my whole life. myself and the kids in the neighborhood were always riding bikes, and I ran everywhere I went. Going to a friends house and I was running there, going to the store and I was running there, school bus and back and I was running, fucking with my older brother and his friends and running from a ass kicking, throwing snowballs at the passing cars and if they stopped I was running.

Generally, I never train abs specifically.
Occasionally, I do ab wheel rollouts for awhile.
Maybe I'll start doing them again as they are good.

Between squats and deads, OH presses, rucking and swinging a baseball bat, I think my core gets enough work.

AB Machines are in most cases worthless. A couple of sets of hanging knee raises is enough.

I’m somewhat insulted that I’m not instantly thought of as the person that brought Ugandan sailors to getbig.
A long time ago, I was at a lookout point that has a great view of the city, with a work colleague (no homo).
It’s a big tourist attraction, and while we were there, some dark skinned guys in sailor uniforms showed up.
They were far too touchy feely with each other for our liking, so it became a bit of a running joke at work - anyone with slightly gay tendencies belonged with the Ugandan sailors at this lookout point.
This was back in the good old days when you could call someone a homo at work and not get fired.

Been working calves for 40 plus years with standing, seated an leg press calf raises. My wife still asks me how I stand on those tiny legs. Hit man Hearns laughs at my calves.

although i have a lot of kit at home i have no calf machine, just seems a lot of money for a simple exercise i can do standing with a barbell or a loaded Dips belt.
Seated i like with a barbell old school.
The biggest Calves i saw was on some old guy cycling on a bike..thousands of reps on his bike, they were H-U-G-E

I use to do abs all the time but now it's just a couple of times a week. If you train hard and heavy enough like Grape said they get worked out anyway.
