Right now it’s just NY from what I’ve read but expected to extend to other states and cities with similar laws like California and Hawaii. Example, where I live in Orange Co, the CCW approval rate is about 98% because the Sheriff gets it AND the sheriffs in my county want the help. LA County is similar to NYC where they are making almost impossible to get a CCW.

The thing that changed in NY was the “Good Cause” letters of the application..almost no matter what applications we’re getting denied. You need a Good Cause with the application but again, it’s county by county. Believe it or not you cannot use causes such as “because the country is getting dangerous” or “I live in a high crime area”, try to avoid words like “cash” etc. those in blue ran counties could be cause for denial
