At first I was wondering how Charlie Brown won a pro card here, and then I realized he is in the 80+ age category:
https://contests.npcnewsonline.com/contests/2022/npc_teen_collegiate__masters_national_championships/charlie_brown/
He probably has a physique very similar to Getbig's Walter Sobchak. So fair play to him, he looks as good as an average man who doesn't train, who is decades younger. And for 80, he looks great.
I don't think there have been any 80+ competitors who look great. You get 60+, and sometimes even 70+ competitors who look good...but we seldom see 80+ aged competitors who look very good.
His chest is better than mine at 40, and he is both bigger and stronger than Walter Sobchak:
-
26 competitors in heavy weight class of master over 40!!

It makes me feel a bit sad for Marcus Robinson. Imagine looking this good at over 40, only to place 2nd out of 26 competitors, narrowly missing a pro card, while knowing virtually every other pro card other than for the only guy in your class who beat you, were all given out to people who look worse than you.

hanks would have placed 27th

Looks healthier and will probably live longer than bwanks.

Would never have made it to the contest. LOL ;D

He's bigger and stronger than Walter Sobchak. And I was serious when I said Charlie Brown's chest is better than mine.
For being 80+, he has my respect.

For perspective, Adonis did not place in the top 15:

Would B. Hank have beaten Adonis?

40 plus heavyweight is the toughest division that is my entire point winning at 154lbs is not the same thing
-
I would beat the guy who took 6th at super heavy. I think that is the lesson here show up as a super heavy

Could be a whole crop of even better guys next year.....that`s why I don`t eat cobbler or other crappy foods.
Also what makes you think it`s harder to win a pro-card at superheavyweight rather than lightweight.....all the guys weigh about the same....no differance at all.....some guys have small structures and will never be a superheavyweight....your self included....you may make weight which is highly doubtful, but you would never be in contest condition in that weight class.
-
After seeing this it almost makes me regret that I stopped competing
-
Must be the Rice Krispie treats and candy they incorporate into their diets now. Bodybuilding has died. Didn't Kamali win the collegiate nationals?

I`m going next year......join the club Joe.

hahaha looks for the worst line up then plans to enter it in hope of placing...
So you plan to turn up overweight and place better than if you turned up in shape?

There are simply more guys competing at heavyweight than super its always like that. I am in shape now and 225lbs. Adding 10 nore pounds and staying in shape the next year isnt unrealistic.

Its absolutely harder to win a pro card in the heavier classes more competitors ans its a lot harder and takes more time to add that kind of muscle vs just starving yourself to 154lbs

you have just stated that the super heavy was a weak line up?????
Fucks sake make your mind up

YOU KNOW JACKSHIT ABOUT BODYBUILDING
Tell e why anyone should listen to you....you`ve only done one contest and then you looked like a big spider.
Your hate for lighter bodybuilding classes is just because of your petty jealousy over the FACT that MM won his IFBB PRO-CARD.
BTW,there are tons of guys lighter than you that would simply murder you onstage.....have you actually attended any decent sized amateur contests?
-

Not as deep as the Heavies still 100x harder to win than lightweight
-

That assures the fact that you will never win then unless nobody else shows up.
Your work ethic is non-existant,as is your attention to diet.......trust me when I tell you that no decent bodybuilder I have ever met had such a lax diet as you even during the off-season while "bulking" for lack of a better term, and I trained in a city full of bodybuilding legends.

And yet I stay lean year round and I am 50lbs heavier than you maybe you dont know shit about diet i have seen what you eat starvation rations

Next year buddy. You got this.

Don`t kid yourself sonny......your only attribute is being lean and that`s only because you never come off the gear which contributes to why you`re a medical mess.
Have fun "competing" in your next "contest" which you will never do.

Well done That man for competing & getting a 6th place.
Only if That is the Level & standard by which you are comparing yourself
& Really believe that is a worthy contest level of Physique
that you aspire to Beating - Then Just One Leg / Body part of Wes
in contest condition would wipe the Floor with your whole Physique
Regardless of Any Bodyweight.
Of Course You will Ignore This advice & Deride everyone apart from Yourself
as being Wrong.
That's your delusions for you to sort out.
This From A NABBA UK Judge - Judged at Britain & Mr Universe
so quite clearly I know Fuck all & You are the only one who is Correct.
;D :D ;D :D ;D
Carry on with your absurd Delusions.

He may have possibly beaten the 6th. place finisher but unfortuanelty you only win an award up to 5th. place.
I checked out the Supers and the Heavies and the top 5 guys in both classes would have smoked Hanky.......he`s simply not dedicated enough to pay his dues.....the only aspect of the sport that truly keeps him in decent condition is the gear.
If I place dead last in this contest next year the one thing I`ll know in my heart is that it wasn`t for a lack of trying......already dotting my "I"`s and crossing my "T"`s for this show.

These guys are shapeless and smooth for the most part. Look much better 3 or 4 weeks out. Bodybuilding has really regressed. Even the guys in the 50s and 60s looked better.

This is what it’s come to? You trying to convince us you could win 6th place in a bodybuilding show?

I think I could actually win if I entered the over 45 classic division next summer at 212lbs. But I would be happier on stage 230lbs+ but you never know what will happen a year is a long time when you are in your mid 40s you cant really predict how your body will respond. Honestly, I would be happy just to keep training injury free at this point.

This is probably the smartest thing you have said.
You won't be able to break 235-240 and/or squat 405.
Finally, you are smartening up.
You should come off all the drugs and just trim down to your natural body weight of 165 lbs. easier on the heart, the BP and the kidneys.

With this response i am guessing you will get above 240 lbs? I think that's impossible. You have tried for over a year as soon as you get over 230 your body starts to regress and send you backwards.
Perhaps, this is your body giving you a sign?
Unfortunately, your limit is 315 on squats for actual reps.
