I’m a big Samsung fan when it comes to tvs but phones iPhones allday. Easy to use and just can take a beating. No contest iPhone for the win. Everyone I know that has/had a Samsung eventually goes apple but apple don’t go Samsung. I’ve used Samsungs and the ease of use just isn’t there.

I've never owned an Iphone, Samsung for ever. Getting new phones tomorrow and been considering an Iphone. Seems to be the popular option out there.

Go iPhone you won’t be sorry. Ease of use, quality iPhone winds hands down. Samsung are the only TVs I buy but iPhones can’t be touched.

iPhone for sure. Ease-of-use.
People who are more text savvy tend to gravitate towards the android. But the iPhone is literally plug and play within a few minutes to figure out how to use it

I've had numerous Samsung TVs crap out on me. Dead pixels, flash lighting, weird artifacts. I am personally done with Samsung. Their quality control is shit. I've read that LG is better than Samsung. I have one LG TV and have had no issues yet.

I switched from Android to iPhone since the 4.
However, at this point, I think there's little difference between the operating systems. For email, internet, camera, they're all likely pretty similar.
But I will say the iPhone I have now is awesome. Great battery life, sick camera, etc.....

Been using iPhones since 2009. And I am tech savvy. But there are some cool Android phones out there no doubt. Even the Samsung ones. But because I've been burned by them with their TVs and tablet which they stopped supporting after only 2 years I have soured on them. I do still buy their SSD drives though.

Well?
I got my iPhone 12 Pro the week I left for DC in 2020. I absolutely love it but when I upgrade every 2-3 years it’s only because of the camera

I use the iPhone 13 Pro Max for work but use the Z fold 3 for my daily driver. I'm a tech guy and neither one will let you down since they are both similar. ;)

no idea , I have a £20 Nokia
It makes phone calls
Just think how long you actually spend "talking" to people on your "phone" each month...

The price of these things boils my blood. My old phone died on me recently so I had to finally fork out for a new one. Went with a Samsung A53 as it wasn't wildly expensive. The things I do use on these phones a lot are email, Sat-Nav, Spotify, WhatsApp, and banking. I've no need at all for the top-of-the-range ones, though.

Android is for people who think “jailbreaking” your phone is really important
iPhone is more homoerotic obviously
Camera features are irrelevant, not something a man should worry about.
Tough choice but I prefer the iPhone(NH).

apple sucks ass with all their products due to the constant nonsense of constantly having to keep logging in everywhere over and over again with your APPLE ID, Cloud nonsense, etc...... god forbid you forget all the different logins.. you're done..

12 pro max after my 6s wouldn't update anymore, will repeat the process, don't see any need for a yearly update.

Get a Tracfone.
-
Both the same for what I use them for. (Email, Podcasts, Text). I see no difference.
Had an iPhone for a while, went back to the Samsung...

Have same phone and feel the same way. No need to upgrade to latest because it's just tweaks right now. Battery still excellent after two years, even at 89%.

I have been asked why I dont have an iphone and my answer is always the same. "because I am not a girl".
apple is a woke libtard cult.

Went with the S22Ultra. :o

As if you were not going to all along
After consulting with friends and family, I discussed the options with my priest and the tribe and decided that change was not in the cards for this round of new phones. I have taken some verbal abuse from snobby iphone owners already, sensitive group, those guys. :D

Well?
Since day one, all I've had were Samsung phones. My most recent purchase is a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with 512G. It replaced a perfectly good Galaxy Note 10. Functionally, the S22 is similar in that it has a pen. The camera features are amazing!
Here is what one person who has had both says about them. I agree that the battery life isn't what it could be. My previous Samsung lasted longer. The battery charges really fast though.

PS I think you made the right choice.
