If even half of that is true, that is awful.
Maybe 25% of those doses, and I wouldn't think twice.
I'm checking out all the videos on Shelby Starnes now. I'm glad you raised awareness about this. I had heard he was bad for prescribing heavy drug protocols, but I had never heard it outlined so clearly as in that video.
It was a good watch - I recommend other Getbiggers check it out. :o

IMO the complaints were all bullshit and the guys crying should be ashamed of themselves. Fact of the matter is his "prescriptions" were were very middle of the road plus many were hearsay. These "girls" were begging for anything to make them better. That one bitch who wasn't even trained by shelby was going organize a class lawsuit against shelby on behalf of someone else. Meanwhile the bitch is on insane doses herself. Imagine having this type of vindictive bitch inserting herself in your business just to be the center of attention Lol. Apparently the idea was squashed when shelby's lawyer got in touch with these people lol.
Put pen to paper, see what it looks like written down, if you think this is extreme. If it is, it's been done for decades. And crying about low calories?! Lol bitch, don't eat "low calories" and see where you end up. Anyone can do anything they like.
Where is your personal responsibility?
One drug mentioned, aldactone, which shelby supposedly put someone on for 3 or 4 weeks is routinely prescribed for months or years to regular hoes Lol. People simply don't know wtf they are talking about. "The diuretic protocol was dangerous" and in the next sentence they say they do aldactone plus Dyazide themselves. The same fucking thing!

Don’t know what dose he advocated for aldactone but we would use it in 90s and early 2000s. Low dose for a few weeks up until the show.

Yeah exactly, it takes a while to start working properly. Two weeks seems to have been very common. But these guys just hear "diuretics for 2 weeks." Meanwhile they've "heard" diuretics should only be used for 1-2 days, maybe half a Dyazide the night before. So it really depends on which product, by whom and how it's taken. The danger with aldactone is not becoming dehydrated, the danger is buildup of high potassium levels. One idea behind the aldactone was in fact to increase potassium until you took your loop or other diuretics which flush potassium. By itself adactone doesn't drop water dramatically.

My ex-GF had a weird problem retaining potassium and would get hypokalemic.
They put her on 25mg of Aldactone for like 5-6 months.

Isn't it slightly redundant running so many compounds?
One more thing - how come in the OP thread, Shelby is recommending 11 litres of water up until the day before the show, but was supposedly recommending no water to other competitors previously?
That sounds like it could be a change of heart from someone who realized the level of dehydration was too risky before, and is now trying to be safe.
Or am I missing something there?
