Incredible.

However, he’s a midget. So it’s a bust for him.

John Haack seems to be the new golden child. A challenger to the Coan throne?

Dude gym-pulled 903, one pound more than Coan’s best, but conventional, and at a lighter bodyweight.

His current total is the all-time highest in the 90kg class. And the all-time for the next class, as well.

GR he was really amazing. He was one of the strongest men in the world at that time and you look at him and he looked like he could be your paper boy.He was about 5-7 and a little stocky built but you certainly would not think he was one of the strongest guys in the world .

Awesome Lifter an ATG
I believe that 836lbs was done at a bodyweight of only 79kg while lifting in the
82.5kg class !!
Mind he's not as Strong as Bwanky or Matt C -  ;D
He was 1st man to Total 11xBodyweight IIRC

now that is the question.. I see the great Doug Young up there in one of the posts. He used to come to our gym occasionally too and let me tell you he was the opposite of Mike he looked every bit as strong as he was.Actually pictures don’t really do him justice He was a sight to see in person.
