Title: The 30th anniversary of Mohammed Benaziza’s passing is fast approaching
Post by: Royalty on August 31, 2022, 10:32:49 AM
I’ve read first hand accounts and watch videos about the cause of death... ranging from dehydration caused by self administered diuretics, or possibly a lethal potassium (or sodium) injection from an misinformed physician

Today I read this article that mentioned a “medicine” from an “unknown person”

Man I was just getting into bb back then.

Many experts and fellows on the scene thought he was a dead man walking, he killed himself a few days in advance by not drinking for 3 days, only fruit for fluids, popping strong diuretics. When the situation became acute it was far too late. The other pros said he walked around with a drug bag and was popping pills constantly. He was on so much clen he couldn't even drink a coffee with one hand. Dr Mauro DiPasquale thought probably his predicament and vital signs indicating distress were hidden by his Nubain use so the initial doctors didn't get a good look knowing all the facts. Supposedly at the last show he had to be carried to the competition venue from the tour bus because he was cramped up and seized up. Some pros said Momo asked them to feel his muscles and they were cold, clammy and hard as concrete.

That's what I call hardcore. I thought Momo was one of the very best at the time. Munzer was in a class of his own too in some ways. Too bad these guys had to go, though I'm sure they knew this was a real possibility. Or should have.

Theres a couple Porter Cottrell interviews where he describes Benezziza's last few hours....

There was a really interesting piece on YouTube, i think it was Wayne Demilla. Anyway he said Benezziza had screwed up his diuretic use. Also said Benazizza had a young girl with him, like a 15 or 16 year old girl that he was screwing and that complicated things because she was there when he actually died.

He also spoke about Munzer. Apparently Munzee didn't have a clue what he was doing and was tripling up on diuretics  whereas his peers were using one diuretic at a fraction of the dose. And when he spoke to Munzer about it Munzer was totally unaware that his drug use was so far outside of what was considered typical.

i felt very bad for momo, i'm sure being as short as he was made his life very difficult

i think it made him feel he had to go the extra mile to stand out on stage and maybe just in life in general

I didn’t realize he was so challenged physically?

Really considering his physical limitations how much longer could he have lived?

I think I read that dwarfs live half as long as the average man.

It's like Shawn Clarida beating Hadi Choopan. When Momo beat Dorian at the NOC. That sounds nuts but it happened.

I read at the time it was due to the Clen, clen draws fluid to the lungs to lubricate the bronchial passages, thats its real use.

Once he became dehydrated any fliuds they gave him went straight to his lungs, he basically drowned.

According to the above picture, Dorian and Momo would’ve been two heavy hitters in the Mark Dugdale Coinpurse Classic (Winner gets a free pair of booster briefs). Imagine these two warriors going “head to head”?

Is there any chance that he faked his own death, and is still out there somewhere?

I never took/take anything regularly, but once on a 3 day sleepless vegas trip, someone gave me half a klonopin.  In like 10 seconds, my mind just stopped buzzing and I was just completely in the present, but thinking about nothing in the background.

It was fucking great, but also spooked me as to how fast and powerful it was, so I never tried it again.

Wow. Shit does nothing for me. I have a script for it. Every month I get my meds in the mail. I must 5 or 6 bottles of it. I ised to take it because the doctor told me to. But i just didn't notice anything at all. But when I stopped I couldn't sleep for a week.

I took a klonopin while drinking from a friend’s script and it seemed to be more dangerous in terms of the dysfunction it caused on dexterity compared to other benzos.

I’m sure a lot of people get DWI’s combining it with alcohol.

I used to take benzos and drink in the hopes of avoiding hangovers, my reasoning being that the multiplier effect would allow me to get drunk of 2-3 drinks instead of 6-8.

Worked really well, but if you weren't careful it was a good way to blackout
