It ain't. I could be wrong but I don't recall the great Jack LaLanne ever taking this to such an embarrassing degree and he could back up his training with more than arms akimbo posing for what is polite, albeit faint, "praise".

The best thing to come of this is that I will NEVER EVER do this, LOL! ;D

Over 50 guys can look as good as the younger guys. Over 60 becomes much more iffy. Over 70 VERY IFFY and most dudes should have long since hung up their trunks. As an older bodybuilder, I follow the older contingent and a couple of the guys shown above looked very good as Over 60s, now on the saggy side at Over 70. In link below and above are the Over 70s at the recent Collegiate Masters. Several look pretty damn good and can stand proud:
