God wanted only 2 people. That was his plan.
Satan got Eve to eat the apple to screw over God and get them out of Eden. This is why we are really Satan’s children.
God then got pissed off with Satan’s success and after thousands of years he sent Jesus down to try and persuade people it was a really his master plan all along to create the human race. Break it down and you have Satan who persevered over 200,000yrs+ to build up the human race and then God swooped in claim he did it all himself this last 2,000yrs when we were already up and running as a species.
