When I was a kid in high school I was at a friends house with other friends.....We were smoking weed when "Louie's" dad came home ,smelled weed, and called the cops .When the cops arrived Louie told the cops to fuck off and held a knife to his chest .
Eventually they got the knife away from him......
His father decided to put him in Danvers Insane Asylum in Danvers Mass to 'Teach Him A Lesson'
I went and visited him there and it was like a movie....many insane people got labotomies and died there over the years....long c losed now.
People hiding in corners....white coats sedating people....def ghosts there.
Scary AF....will never forget the experience
Was actually a movie made there called "Session 9"

Then you can be a ghost instead of a ghost hunter.

I was sub-contracted with a buddy of mine to hang partitons/curtains on sliding tracks between the patients beds at an asylum in Providence R.I. years ago.....saw some crazy ass scary people there.

On my break, I was sitting down eating my lunch and all of a sudden I felt someone rubbing my back.....I turned to see a scrawny old hag with white hair that looked like she had just been through electric shock therapy, and she says to me........"You like that don`t you" ?

I headed for the hills.  ;D

At times, both my wife and I hear music that sounds like it`s coming from a radio in our house late at night, and I have no really close neighbors out in this wooded rural area......been hearing it off and on in the house for years....haven`t heard it in a long time now though.

Spooky! What genre of music do you and your wife hear?

Sometimes when I first wake up in the mornings, I hear what sound like a radio announcer. I've read some people have auditory hallucinations which is also known as musical tinnitus. I have tinnitus. What I mostly hear sounds like a distant windstorm.

I have no clue Jay....it`s very faint and I can`t make out a discernible tune or melody, but it`s music and I have no clue who`s playing it, or why it`s playing.

At first I was creeped out but got used to it.....it`s been a long time now since we have heard it like I mentioned and that`s just fine with me.

I know a guy that regularly goes on ghost hunts.

A couple of months ago he claimed that he was alone on the the field in Gettysburg where the famous battle took place. He claimed that the temperature dropped roughly 15-20 degrees very suddenly, and that he heard the sound of cannons being fired.

As I type this, I realize how ridiculous that sounds. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but he his a very interesting guy nonetheless.

If you play the Pumping Iron pump-up-room scene backwards, you can hear “yeah you know me” echoing in the background. Nubret was the only one that reacted to it.

My sister worked at the Sunnyvale Toys R Us in the late 1970’s

She didn’t see anything but heard a lot of stories

Well worth a read up

Growing up in Michigan every Teenager had to go to the ddfunct Eloise Insane Asylum.

Massive poor farm/sanatorium complex. All kinds of rumors about the horrors that occured there. It was first opened sometime in the late 1800's and there was something like 7,000 unmarked graves of people who died there.

The complex was massive dozen buildings connected by underground tunnels.  You could definitely get lost in the tunnels.  You'd find jars full of formaldehyde and some obscure floating giblets.  Weird tools, stirrups, manoclles etc... occasionally youd hear movement or muffled voices. In all likelihood it was other dumbass kids.

Got chased off by security and cra ked my ribs running into a fence post. That was 3 days before a wrestling tournament so that sucked.

But there's a movie made about it. Its a pretty lousy B movie. I think its called eloise and is about dumb kids who go explore the closed hospital.
