I've been training down a boxing gym on and off for a couple of years now, whilst lifting weights occasionally, and have realised that I am never going to give the boxing enough dedication to compete. So i am going to give weight training top priority instead.
My question is, I am about 13 and half stone at the moment and could stand to lose about 3/4 of a stone, so would you recommend I lose the excess before bulking or after?
I am going to train in a hardgainer/stuart mcroberts style, cycling the weight lifted etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

do you mean to lose 3/4 of a stone would make u very lean or just average. if its really not excessive i would just leave it and almsot grow into it. however id be very careful about adding anymore fat.

I think it would make me lean as I am average at the moment( no love handles etc). My only concern is that I turn into a bloater quite quickly, esp if I cut down on the cardio I get from the boxing.

id give it 2 weeks see how it goes if u get tubby then either minipulate calories or even do a bit of cycling wakling etc. even a few rounds of bag work end of workout would help a lot

I'm 26, 5'11 and around 190lbs.
