Asking this for someone very close to me who believes his (ex)wife cheated on him multiple times... Cousin has two of her flip phones (Samsung SGH-X475 and LG LX1200 - both T-Mobile). He believes these two phones have a treasure trove of her cheating literature and he wants that information because he is in the process of getting divorced and his ex is literally taking him to the cleaners.
Anyone know how to get around getting the information out of these phones? I believe he does not have the power cords because he grabbed them without her ex knowing.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thx.

I think this has some useful info...

Not sure what you're asking exactly, but try buy chargers for them (ebay) and read any saved messages on the phone. These are really old phones so there is no cloud type back up for texts.
If the phone has a pin lock then find an old phone that takes the sim and check if there are any text messages saved on the sim.
If the sim requires you to enter a pin (sim lock) then you're screwed
-
How long did the cheating occur that those are the two phones your person is using for proof?
-
The other guy must be a getbigger.
-
I think sms messages are saved on the phone and not on the sim. (both is possibel)
He could use another simcard and get access to the phone..
-
Is he not a marriage warrior?

2 flip phones? You sure she wasn't selling drugs instead of sucking cock?

LMFAO.

According to my cousin, she was a serial cheater but only found out when the PI he hired to find out who she was cheating with saw two dudes fighting over her. Neither of the two knew she was actually married. BUT the report the PI gave him showed circumstances and goings about that he recognized happened multiple times in the past and now he believes she has been cheating on him for at least 17 years.

I've only skimmed over this material but were the two guys fighting over her in the midst of a double team? Were they quarrelling over who gets the mouth, pussy or ass first?

A SIM card contains no data, its purpose is just to tell the phone what network to connect to. Only a judge , court masgistrate or the state and federal government can obtain that...forget about a lawyer.

You can save a limited number of texts (and contact list) to the SIM cards. It was pretty common back when using them old phones to save sentimental texts to the SIM card and then wipe clean the saved texts on the phone to make room for new ones.

Brutal if true.

You'd be surprised what you can get off a phone, if you have the physical phone, as well as the Sim card.
There was a case in Canada in 2006 involving a Blackberry [which, as a standard, has heavy encryption, since Blackberries were used by many in the investment banking community.
It took two years of the RCMP working on the phone...but they finally got everything. I believe this required the destruction of the phone's internal motherboard...but they got it.
For the layman, Sim card readers are available, although I've never bought one, so don't know how well they work:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/401145518162?hash=item5d6622d852
This is why I always use prepaid phones, and I physically take apart the phone, soak them overnight in pop, and chuck all the pieces in different garbage cans when I'm done.
Not that have anything to hide...I just feel our phones spy on us WAY too much. Once I was talking about Aquidneck Island in Rhode Island, and an island in Aquidneck Island [yes, the smallest US state has an island, which itself has an island]. Anyway, next thing we know, and my friend's brand new phone fresh out of the box was serving him travel ads for islands.
I also just misplaced an old phone on Saturday. So when I went online to change my passwords online just to be safe, and I found out that Google had been tracking the geographical location of that phone since I bought it in 2020.
And that's why I use prepaid phones only - the spying is straight out of hand.
Speaking of cheating, I was dated a married woman for nine months, and it turned out that my house showed up as the #2 place she visited, second to only her one house. Her husband grabbed her phone to check that, but it was locked, and she later deleted that list with the locations visited.
My point is: our phones spy on us A LOT. And that is why I always buy prepaid phones to use for a few months to a couple of years max at a time.
My suggestion if you have the physical phone is to keep it in a safe place turned off, and not take pictures or videos, or otherwise use anything that will take up storage. As any new information stored will potentially overwrite older information.

On the topic, but off the topic:
A friend of mine wants a phone. In fact, a few do, including a Filipino friend who is working in Saudi Arabia for $1.15 USD per hour [for 16 hour days, literally 29-30 days each month] . I have a "phone graveyard" of old phones I have not yet saved the pictures/videos from, because I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Is there any to wipe everything 100%?
The only thing I can think of - barring literally FBI or RCMP level technology - would be to continually take videos on each phone until there is no more room yet, delete them, then repeat the process a few times.
I'm not so certain that would 100% clear all the old text messages though, as texts are so few KB in size each.
But I'm not concerned about the old texts being recoverable by the RCMP or anything...I just want to make sure a normal tech layman wouldn't be able to access them.
Do any Getbiggers have any suggestions on this?

That's awful. I'm sorry to hear about your cousins relationship being horrific for the last 2 decades.
-
If someone cheats on you why would you give a fuck, they obviously dont care about you so why lose any sleep over them.
All men get taken to the cleaners, thems the rules.
-
weird little tid bit - but if you suspect your partner is playing hide the sausage with someone and have an idea who that person is, try driving out the front of their house and see if her phone magically happens to connect to their wifi.......

Not horrific at all. He suspected something was going on but their life, according to him, was awesome: she gave it to him pretty much every other night, great cook, always happy, went on vacation with him, never went out on girls-night-out or girls-only-vacations, great in the sack, never went to work extra early or left extra late, etc. He's completely dumbfounded as to how his ex carried out all her affairs, and how she was able to hide all of it. I mean, he told me that the only thing he found was a text from her to an unknown number asking the person to "always immediately delete texts, calls and pictures." Which is what got him inquisitive.
At least he doesn't have any kids so...

Bearing in mind he doesnt have any evidence as yet did it actually happen at all?
-

No, no, both dudes were affair partners, but both were unaware of the other's existence. So one must've seen the woman walking with the other affair partner and the dude got upset thinking the woman was cheating on him.
This b-tch was a pro.
-

No, he does have the evidence now (he hired a PI).
The only thing is that his ex wants more than her ½ so he wants to get her to get to the negotiating table. He figures that if he has a way to show that his marriage was null and void because she's been serial cheating him from the beginning of the marriage he can either 1) get her lawyers to talk to her and force her to desist or 2) he will take the "nuclear" option, which will be investigating who she's cheated with, find out if they were married and out them to their spouses and, if she cheated with a coworker, go to the HR department and out them too.
According to my cousin, he has AT LEAST 3 or 4 marriages in his hands. He knows that if he contacts their wives, the marriage is going to end.
He figures that getting all this information can really help his case.
These cheating b-tches are pure filth.

so she had two guys on the go at the same time and still fucked him every other day?
Sounds fun
I would personlly not give a fuck, I would just get rid and I would inform the wives of the guys shes fucked
I would then sit down and smoke a cigar like Arnold.

Just my two cents: for something this important in terms of future financial implications and legal situations... He's best off sending them to a professional IT/Tech forensic company that's going to retrieve all the data as an impartial third party along with reports/data confirming what they found. That way: It can be used in a legal setting with a chain of custody type situation rather than him doing it off his own back. Sure it'll cost a couple hundred BUT you'll have it in black and white from a professional tech company/investigator which can be backed up legally.
If she indeed is trying to scam him out of money and she was running around on him: he'd want the best level of evidence and protection possible. I'd do it through as official channels as possible. Even get a solicitor to sign off and find a tech company to do this through themselves. I may be wrong as I've never had to do this but if it comes down to someone taking 50% of everything: I'd want to insure myself as best I can. Nothing beats a professional so if the shit hits the fan they can be called up to testify what they found and present a stronger case than you just doing it yourself.

Im sorry. I misunderstood you.
I thought because you were asking how to access the sim cards of 20 year old phones from your cousins wife to confirm a pattern of serial cheating since the beginning of their marriage I assumed that it was a bad relationship.
After thinking about it I realize how foolish I sound to make such an accusation. Im glad it was a relatively good partnership but i am sorry how he found out she was cheating.

SIM cards dont hold any type of data other than stuff relative to hold up to the network. Im sure there are some floating around with text messages but that wont be an issue soon with eSIMS

You're a fucking idiot , Matt....phones have changed since 2006 and you're a white nationalist so of course they are going to keep a watch on you to make sure you don't do something crazy.
Folks , dont listen to what he says...you dont need to soak your phone into Dr Pepper overnight...just do 2 factory resets and your'e done. If youre too paranoid, then wack it with a hammer and put it in with your garbage....🙉

That was exactly my thought... I mean, Samsung SGH-X475 and LG LX1200? There was no cloud at the time. The chats and pics had to had been stored locally in the phone.

Messages AND phone call info? Even deleted messages?

Idk for sure, I do know when I had the LG phone referenced my SIM card held all my contacts.
