How many orders have you placed on Amazon this year?
Returns & Orders >> drop down box >> choose 2022 and see what the number besides it is.
208 for me. And some orders have multiple items. No wonder malls are dying.
-
Six for me.
Although it doesn’t appear to include books ordered on my Kindle (nh).
-
Price being equal I like Amazon Prime and WalMart because of free returns.
-
134 orders this year so far.
Anyone else worried that Amazon will eventually put all other stores out of business then start charging INSANE prices for everything?
:(

I haven't bought a book in years. I just download them from free book sites. I go through one per week usually.

Granted there are some things I can only find on Amazon. Like certain bulbs for my outdoor lighting here. And I have caught some boneless skinless chicken breasts at $1.99 per lb and boneless skinless chicken thighs at $1.79 that were delivered in two hours. But that is rare. About 2-3 times this year so far.

Shopping like a woman. Brutal.
-
38, but each order usually contains at least 10 items. I do about 80% of my shopping on there.
As a service it's just unbeatable. Order what I need and select to have everything delivered at the same time and on the day of my choice. Parcel tracking, free returns, prime video, music etc are all nice features too.
People are also often given a lot of amazon gift vouchers as a bonus by their employers and the resale market for them is pretty strong. The resale value is typically 92.5% so I just buy these up and credit them to my account. I end up paying less shopping on amazon than I would elsewhere.

Hook me up with where to buy the vouchers!

I've never used Walmart. Is it worth it? How comparable to Amazon is it?

I use subscribe and save for so many staples.
Ordered an outdoor nest cam the other day, it was delivered in a few hours.
Just insane how they have transformed shopping.

Hopefully something will always be around to keep their prices normal / competitive.
Cant beat their service to your door, and wide selection of just about "anything". Time saver, gas saver (running around shopping), etc.

56 - 2020
63 - 2021
61 - 2022
That is up from 10 - 15 yearly, previous years.
Average number of items per order about 5 things.
I use it for heavy things I don't want to make a special trip for or lug around mostly. Also oddball things like certain bits of hardware, etc....

amazing how they went from selling books to selling literally everything. Everything. But now they've raised their Prime cost and there are more delivery snafus and delays. Wal mart is hanging in there.

I don't think the delivery stuff is isolated to Amazon.
A lot of free shipping things I select are taking longer than usual.
-
I order so much shit they thought I was a small business and offered me a business membership.

Why does oak always delete his posts ???

Zero I try not to support them

With the exception of clothes, where one would need to try them on to ensure they fit right... I don't see how most folks are not using them for everything else.

I buy some clothes there, the stuff that I know that fits already (socks, underwear, shirts, gym-shorts, sweats, etc).
They make it too easy...

Once I ran out of toilet paper. I said, this is bullshit, so got on Subscribe and Save and now never run out of anything.

I got to check that site out then.

It's good - plus as you add, your discount increases - TP, paper towels, cat food, shampoo, toothpaste.........just shit that you buy often but don't change brands.....just takes a routine task off the menu, and it costs less than Target.

We receive packages daily and throughout the day.

Walmart online is fine. I’ve ordered a few times from them.

Walmart online is fine. I’v0e ordered a few times from them.
Walmart dumps CAP kettlebell inventory a couple times a year.
Once, I got two, 100lb KB for $180 bucks.
Traded one for an 88lb Rogue KB and two 20lb ruck plates.
Sold the ruck plates for $90, so basically got a $200 Rogue KB for free.
But the KB deals can get ridiculous - Got sets of 2 - 40/45/50 for under 100 bucks TOTAL. KBs new are usually $2 / lb, or $1 /lb if lucky.
-
Me personally I’ve never ordered from Amazon the wife on the other hand orders daily from there for her and the kids.

We can’t be honest. After all, we’re bodybuilders.
