If you want to self induced panic attack that’s how u do it. Just did an epic set but I did not like the feeling , almost like drowning in a pool . I believe there’s a technique to master I had a few reps I could rest paused out but I’d only recommend taking it that far if you breathe through mouth

I ran stairs breathing only through my nose. Way harder, not any noticeable benefits either.
Still have to breath out trough mouth though.

Sounds like those people who wear masks for oxygen deprivation training.

My rugby coach used to make us run stairs with a mouthful of water to reinforce the nose breathing while under duress .
