Well I m skeptical that its a blown up charge.
Human trafficking can be very difficult to prove. Mostly because in many instances the women involved will not cooperate. Theyve been groomed to a point and their financial needs have been met. They will not turn against the 'pimp' who takes care of them. Further most of the time they are adult victims, they have numerous options to leave yet dont. They are being coerced BUT they do have free will and can leave if they want.
If we're talking about underage kids thats a different story too. Because by tge very nature of tgeir age erases all questions of consent..
So, when I say it sounds like a trumped up charge Im guessing he hired an escort /call girl/ prostitute/ for his own pleasure using an online service and instead of handling it like a typical "John and hooker" situation, they're trumping up the charges and calling it human trafficking.
Even worse, it could be a police sting. A law enforcement decoy on the other end- no actual human victims at all.
So evidence that is in question is: how many women, what were there ages, how long has this been going on? Were they coerced or forced or otherwised groomed? Im guessing a guy with his social media fame isn't doing all that shit. But he does seem like a big enough poser to hire an online escort or to fall for a decoy mission.

Here's what the Romanian authorities are saying about the Andrew Tate case
This case has literally nothing to do with his online presence or with Greta Thunberg
Him and his brother were detained by DIICOT, which is an anti-terrorist law enforcement agency that investigates organized crime.DIICOT only gets involved in a case when there are serious reasons to believe someone is a huge threat to Romania, and they have been monitoring and investigating the Tates for over 9 months.
The charges against them are s3x trafficking, involvement with organized crime and s3xual assault.
According to DIICOT they have proof that the Tates were holding at least 6 women hostage against their will (4 Romanian, 1 Moldovan and 1 from the US), and they were forcing them to produce p0rnogr@phic content against their will.
They were using the "loverboy method" to lure these girls to them (a term used in s3x trafficking investigations referring to men who lure in girls by claiming that they are pursuing romantic relationships with them).
At least one of them accused the Tates with r@pe (DIICOT didn't release the exact number). Two women were helping them recruiting and ab**ing these girls, and both were arrested on the same night.
Additionally, on the same night, around 40 people were detained by DIICOT with similar charges, who are believed to be affiliated with them.
Currently they are in a preventive arrest, which wouldn't be legally possible unless DIICOT had solid proof and reason to believe that they are dangerous and might run away to another country before the case is finalised.
Their lawyer tried to contest their arrest twice, but it was rejected both times.
DIICOT says they are facing at least 15 years of prison time and they seem to have solid evidence.
So yeah, this has nothing to do with the "woke left trying to censor him" or the "matrix".
This is a serious crime investigation.

DIICOT has released footage from the raid, showing a bunch of illegal firearms around their house, and a gorilla statue filled with money (self-portrait I guess lol)
DIICOT seized their car collection, which (according to various Romanian news outlets) will be used to pay for the expenses of the investigation and the operation, as well as to reimburse the victims.
Before the Tates moved to Romania, they had been under investigation with the same charges by the British authorities, but they had been released due to some technicalities which were used to disprove the reliability of the victims' statements.
Recently, the daughter of a Romanian politician revealed that the Tates have been trying to recruit her and her underage friends when they were 15-17yo, constantly bombarding them with Instagram DMs and trying to invite them to their house and sending them pictures of their cars (given her father's position, there's are slim chances that her would publicly go after such a high profile celebrity with false allegations, since that would compromise her father's position and credibility too).
New updates on the case:
- DIICOT says they have conversations from an unnamed online app where the Tates were discussing their organized crime group and everyone's role in it which is full of incriminating evidence.
- the victims went through psychiatric evaluation and their statements were accepted by the judge as reliable testimonies in the trafficking allegations
- one of the women arrested as part of their trafficking organization actually tried to sell them out a while ago to a news agency. The journalist posted the conversations they had with her, but in the end she didn't go through with it - now people are hoping she will make a deal with DIICOT and testify against the Tates in exchange for her freedom.
So no. Not innocent at all.
