Paying more is wonderful.

I can't wait to pay $10/dozen for eggs.

Natural gas price went up 60%, November to December, from $0.65 to $1.04 per therm.  It's about $1.75 per therm in the NE.  My gas bill was as high as my springtime electric bill.

This is manufactured and completely unnecessary.  We have the second largest known NG reserves (after Russia) - enough for the next 100 years.

My nat gas price doubled since last year but I love paying more because it must be twice as good gas.

This is what people voted for and will keep voting for. I guess they all must be rich or are heavily subsidized from our tax dollars. Anyways, the people have spoken. Too bad the majority of people are clueless or just plain stupid.

Most Libtards in this area (the ones who had a Biden sign during election time) have the shittiest houses, and it seems "lack of money".
Their lack of brains is also a tell-tell sign of a libturd. Do as your told, and give your shit away to illegals. Bleeding hearts.
Very low IQ morons...

I just saw the estimate for next month's gas bill: $377.

This time last year it was $124.

It is now more economical for me to purchase space heaters.

But still no red wave at the mid terms, maybe two more years of this type of pain and more might remind people they have a choice and even if their dumb enough to think their saving the planet they will go broke well before that never happens. Climate change just another socialistic policy attempting to bring down capitalism.

Stop your complaining and turn your thermostat down to 50.

Wear a sweater, scarf, hat and gloves.

Do you think a real man like Sleepy Joe B. is whining about this?

While growing up in NYC of the 70s, the landlord for our apartment died, and the City took over “managing”  ::) the building.

The boiler failed, so there was no heat or hot water during the Christmas of ’74 or ’75.  We had to wear hats, gloves, and sweaters inside.  This was the time of single-pane wood-frame windows.  We taped sheets of plastic over them to stop the draft.  We had no choice.

Now we have a choice: pay exorbitant amounts for gas or layer up.

Or the right gets serious and doesn't put forth Walker and Oz, and reforms early mail in voting.

But even then, never underestimates the left's idiocy to keep electing the same folks as they watch their cities' crime and out-migration increase exponentially.

It's cold in your house and your solution is to hope for improved election outcomes?

Yes, the imposed austerity is bullshit. I'm not saying you're wrong. But in the meantime maybe get a woodstove and a chainsaw, insulate and weatherstrip, no? If you like your girl sucking your cock.

"Someone needs to solve this! Right now!" Yeah... you.

Inflation ends when you have 1 car, eat at home and don’t have any holiday stories. We have YEARS ahead for this shit to play out.

The only thing stopping a Chinese takeover of Aus, which solves all of China's problems, is that Australia is a client state of the US.

I think the US is going to find itself overextended and cut you lose in the next 10 years unless they have a practical reason not to. If Aus doesn't nuke up and play the international game for real it's toast. The time for hiding in America's pocket is drawing to a close.

Maybe 10 years is optimistic. It could be this year. Once Taiwan happens there's no knowing how quickly the pacific dominoes will fall. The Chinese didn't set up in the Solomons for kicks.

China isn’t invading us or taking us over down here.

The answer is this —> sanctions

China imports the vast majority of energy and food. If they do anything at all they will be sanctioned to death instantly. No energy. No food. They aren’t going to be able to move. China is still locking down over Covid FFS, hardly a country about to invade another country.

US, UK, OZ, Japan, we are all booming with economic restructuring to bring most things back home while also creating new trade alliances/agreements between each other.

The Russia war gave reason for everybody to rebuild energy. Sanctions on China will give reason for everybody to rebuild production.

China would be better off eventually invading Siberia. It's on their doorstep. Farming and energy demands are satisfied. West won't really care and Russia will have a severely depleted militarily because of Ukraine.

Only nukes keep Russia safe, but do Russian nukes even work any more? Anyway if Russia goes completely broke because of Ukraine maybe they just end up selling Siberia to China.

I can't wait to pay $10/dozen for eggs.

It may be sooner rather than later, depending on what eggs you buy. I bought a dozen organic cage free eggs yesterday at Safeway for just under $5.00 some brands were priced nearer to $8.00.

On another note, I bought gas at Fred Meyer today for $3.47 a gallon which is down from a couple of weeks ago. Chevron is currently charging $3.99 a gallon. The tank was a little less than 1/4 full so I spent $31.00 total.

Natural gas and electric bills are high this winter. Part of the reason for this is that we aren't good at conserving their usage.

Remember safety fat, helps the body stay a little warmer.

Glad you're eating good organic eggs and not going for the cheaper ones. Organic eggs just taste much better, although I don't really care for the taste of organic chicken much.

How much driving do you do Prime? Do you do the errands alone or take a buddy?

Embargoes either don't work or precipitate war. Empire of Japan 1941.

China has a clear pattern of establishing readiness with regard to Aus, and nobody knows how busy the only deterrent is going to get with its expensive proxy war with Russia. I don't share your optimism.
