Title: 2023 Arnold Classic increases prize money to 300K
Post by: The Keto Kid on January 12, 2023, 10:00:35 AM
Fucking wide open 300k prize money for the open, Bumstead should just do it and win, he could beat Bonac, Clarida, even Sampson. Dudes like Ian, Hunter, Andrew Jacked should all be competing.

If Ronnie era quality was about, I'm sure Arnold would have put it up to bout tree fiddy. These competitors are clearly not worth that, though.

All the guys use to do a grueling Grand Prix tour after the Olympia (for little to no prize money ) nowadays these guys only want to compete once a year (I’m
Assuming because they make their money off of social media / don’t need to compete / don’t need prize money?) they don’t even really do “ guest posing “ anymore….. you are in shape anyways from the Olympia ….  Just hold it and do the Arnold! (The whole top 5 was invited and declined) …. Wtf man you’re a competitive bodybuilder…Compete!

I thought the same. It's as if they're not interested in the Arnold as such. I think Kai/Phil had a thing where Kai got pissed off and stopped with Olympia and only did Arnold and Phil didn't do Arnold after a while in his career? I may be mistaken. I think the same as Dorian - he didn't want to do Arnold Classic probably because Arnold used to slag him off as not being a good rep for bodybuilding so Dorian thought go fuck yourself.

Should be enough money for the winner to stop doing G4P for a few years  :D

Why? He makes too much money selling the BUM bullish to social media kids.  They still think his physique is attainable with his products just as Chris Jones sells his GAF products while juicing.

Win the Arnold and the O and earn pretty close to a mil.. They are far enough apart that leaking for both should not be a problem for a fckn “Pro”. Back when my dumbass competed I didn’t ever do less than 3 contests a season. Didn’t make sense for me to starve myself for one day!

Question -

If Arnold raised the prized money past the Olympia, do you think it could out seat the Olympia as the top bodybuilding show or do you think the Olympia will always be the top show because of the name value?

BB, I'm not 100% sure about this but I bet that Arnold has previously agreed that any IFBB event which he promotes will not exceed the prize money that is awarded in the Olympia.

Can anyone list the prize money for each placing  within each  BB event that was awarded in the Olympia held here in Vegas this past month?

Cbum is a washed up dreamer. No one wants him. He has 0 respect from the competitors and the fans are sick and tired of him. He is exactly what is wrong with the sport. Thank god he wasn’t alive in the 70s or bodybuilding would have never survived. The industry has had enough of him. The fans are done with him. Retailers that carry his garbage supps are probably suffering financially. He lives in la la land and thinks the industry appreciates and needs him. He’s a worn out, tattered, deranged, confused, low IQ, leach, freeloader, and a negative energy on the industry. You can see his negative effect on the contests he enters. We have never seen such an individual like himself have such an ability to bring down the positivity and energy of the sport as he does so rapidly. And he appears defenseless and incapable of basic human functions. It’s like he needs a full time caregiver / handler just to assist him in the sport and every day life. I worry about him driving to be honest and others on the road when he’s behind the wheel. I’m worried he doesn’t understand basic red light and green light and when to stop and when to drive. I almost think he needs a reminder to stop at red lights. Almost like he should have traffic laws on loop playing in his car to remind him.   He brings nothing special and offers 0.00 percent positive return on the sport. He’s not memorable, he’s not the second coming of Arnold. He’s nothing. All he does is ramble on about how he loves sandwiches and pancakes. He’s a human dumpster fire that is causing the most rapid decline on the industry ever seen. His mission is not to help the sport grow…it seems his mission is to let the sport die.

If only getbiggers were powerful moguls/billionaires. We'd inject society with bodybuilding shmoetastic content and force it down Western society. I'd have CNN pumping out RX Muscle content 24/7 instead of this Ukraine garbage. Hunter Biden's Laptop would be wall to wall coverage trying to locate G4P content he may have stashed on there; and why Joe has stashed classified files in his garage cabinets next to posters of Lee Haney.

Are they trying to phase out women's bodybuilding? Why are the woman's Olympia payouts the same as the figure division?

That ain't right.

Women's open class just isn't popular. It doesn't make money, and in many cases, scares off advertisers. If they could, they'd probably get rid of it, but they're afraid of how it would look. They'd much rather a sport of Monica Brants than Nicole Basses.
