I remember seeing this on TV. The episode is on DVD but this particular one was deleted as with many others...8:41
Correction...the bum video was banned too...at this point i think most of thr In Living Color episodes are banned

One of our favorite TV shows back in those days.
Hilarious...

Its funny (not) that they ban that stuff. The writers and creators were black (Wayans). (Keenan).
They played on stereotypes and poked fun at blacks and whites. "The Brothers Brothers" how nerdy white people are, and even Carey with that Alan Thicke thing.
Total white goofball.
No one can laugh anymore, its too "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACIISS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST" and Sheeeeeeeeeittttttttt... ::)

First time I ever saw Carrey was on that show.
You could tell he was something special.

Damn I miss when I didn't see skin color and just watched TV shows because I liked them.
Now the libs shove skin color in my face and as a result I would never watch these shows if they were made today.
In Living Color
The Jeffersons
Cosby Show
Good Times
Family Matters
Sanford and Son
Chapelle Show
etc...etc...etc..
Never saw any of those as "black".... I just watched them because they were good
lib fucks ruined everything for the rest of my life now..

11:10 I thought the preferred flavor was grape? Maybe the video was removed for inaccuracy?

Race relations were much more normalized in the 80s.

Sanford & Son, Jeffersons and Good Times, 3 of the best sit coms ever...

That was a great show during a time when sketch comedy hadn't really hit the mark by having a balance that incorporates racially funny/significant material with relevance to everyday people. It married a lot of themes that other shows like Saturday Night Live couldn't, because they were being broadcasted by a network that didn't have the balls to bring racy and likely "insensitive" topics to the forefront.
It was a show that served to spearhead many great careers (Jim Carrey, The Wayans, David Alan Grier, Jennifer Lopez, Jamie Fox, Kim Coles) and even helped to further propel the careers of others like Chris Rock.
What I liked about it is that it would air during late night on Fox and would make for a great way to end the evening with a good laugh. The show was also a good watch among friends to really bring out that laugh factor.
Thanks for sharing Vince. This is a show I used to watch over 30 years ago. I think it helped to make way for others like the Chapelle Show and Key & Peele (I think Key & Peele was probably the funniest out of all the sketch comedy shows).

Agreed.
Times surely have changed.

I saw Damon do stand up last year.
He was funny and very much not PC.
Society has become too PC for a lot of what they do.
I was a big hip hop fan back in the 90’s and really looked forward to their musical performances.

They ban that, yet push this on the masses...

Great show.....I watched it all the time along with Fire Marshall Bill ! ;D
-
Yeah they made fun of everyone, that's why the show was a huge hit.
-
Here's another one that was pretty funny. There's no way they would show any of this stuff today on tv.
