Looks great.
I feel as of today, his story was better than Ali's.

I'm sure Big George would not want to switch places with Clay now, that's for sure...
In a much better place. :)

Foreman grill and named all of his kids "George" but overall the standard boxing story, poverty, WC, fall from grace, and the phoenix.
The movie looks good but they should have had Forest Whitaker direct it.

I think his comeback in his 40s was the most impressive of all time.

I enjoyed using his indoor grills to “knock out” the fat

It was much fun to watch. Tuesday Night Fights, he was on a lot of those for his early comeback fights.
Loved that show...

This
At the time being 40 was like being 50 .

Very inspirational in many ways.
You gotta love Big George and I'm especially happy that this film got made while he is still alive.

George done good.

IMO, non-existence is vastly superior than existence. Although I have no idea if death = non-existence.
What I meant was: the last ~30 years of Ali's life was of lower quality than the last 30 years of Foreman's.
At least IMO.

George was a truly great fighter. Naturally gifted with heavy hands and brute strength. His technique and generalship was better in his 40s than in his 20s.
Those early comeback fights were fun to watch. Taking has beens and blown up cruiserweights and knocking them into next year.
His destruction of Fra z ier and Norton was unbelievable for the time. Truly freaky power. But the greatest Foreman fight ever was vs. Lyle. That shit will raise your test levels just watching it.
Hope they don't try to put some idiotic woke spun on it. George was his own man. When other athletes held up black fists at the Olympics George held up American flags, which was considered controversial! George always positive , always appreciated his opportunities.
Great man.

I'm sure there will be some wokeness in there somewhere.
Perhaps a cruel slave owner who abused George's grandfather or a raciss appliance manufacturer who poo-pooed the Foreman Grill.

Ha LOL.... maybe Jim Lampley in an executive meeting with HBO suits talking about George's nonsensical and blatantly biased commentary during his time on the hbo broadcast team.

Amen! Brutal is too soft a word

Foreman is a man that turned heads with a punch and ultimately turned his own life around.

He missed that call, brother! They couldn’t wait 5 minutes while the Hulkster was cracking one off. They needed a spokesman NOW!
